They looked into my case professionally and quickly and advised me in a much better manner. Annie and her team are so personal. It felt so different from the other agent. As a landlord it’s so important to have trust in your agent to do a great job. I highly recommend for a fair and professional service.

She was exceptional and provided exactly what our family needed. Rebecca was very professional, easy to communicate with and found the right property quite speedily.

They have been on the case practically everyday. The service is personalised, they are very approachable, and upfront about where we are with the sale. They have dealt with all the issues I would have expected them to and more . They’ve made my life easier by doing this and I would recommend them without hesitation. A special thanks to Kim and especially to the manager at the branch , Nicole, who has been there every step of the way. Nothing is too much for this Estate Agent and everything is possible . He kept us totally up to date, and as we live 2O miles from the property he helped more than once to avoid us having to visit, which was really above and beyond what we expected. So, based upon our experience, we are very happy to recommend James and Acquire Estate Agents.

Once a buyer was found, they were extremely courteous and speedy in their responses to complete the sale. Fantastic and highly recommended. 1st Aug 2022 (1 year ago)Rented from saints for 2 years and they were awful - impossible to get hold of and very slow at responding to urgent queries such as having a broken boiler. I don't know why they exist other than to take more money off tenants - I can't imagine anything would have been different if we had cut them out the equation dealt directly with the landlord, other than that we would have been financially better off. I've heard that some of the staff I dealt with have left the company since then but I would still advise against renting through this agent.

12th Jun 2024 (2 days ago)Extremely disappointing service from Donna at Marble Castle Donington from start to finish. We’ve sold and bought houses before and can say this has been the worst estate agent we have dealt with for selling, I will detail just some of this below: •They copied the old listing of our house from when we bought it, spelling mistakes and all and sent us the draft without checking. •Consistently provided us with incorrect information. One example, our buyers position. We were told our buyers could break the chain if needed when we accepted their offer, then when we needed this to happen it wasn’t the case. •We had to chase them constantly to action anything on our behalf but we received frequent emails with no update or information just “your buyers want to move asap”. •Donna worked in favour of our buyers, pushing their position, circumstances and a completion date that suited them first even though we were moving cross country with a baby, breaking the chain to ensure the sale which I had to keep reminding them of our circumstance. •We put an offer on a house and lost as Marble didn’t know the full details of the our chain and couldn’t provide it when asked, it took a day of back and forth to confirm and we lost the house due to this. The other estate agent commented on how unprofessional they were not knowing or being able to provide the full chains details right away. •We were told that the chain was all secure and confirmed (the chain was only 4 including ourselves) when it wasn’t and they hadn’t even contacted the whole chain with the most up to date completion date we had put forwards after our buyers suddenly couldn’t work to the date Marble had specified everyone was working towards. •After being hassled and told everyone was working to a date proposed by our buyers, this completion date was pushed back by a month due to the bottom of the chain’s living and financial circumstances which at no point was ever know or communication to us by Marble until after we had bent over backwards to pack, secure removals and storage for that date. If Marble had secured this information from the bottom of the chain from the start and passed through the chain everyone would have worked around them from the beginning to avoid the delay. Surely any estate agent knows to work from the bottom of the chain up? Not in this case! •We are at a loss financially and when communicated this were told “I don’t know what you want me to say”. We are at loss because they did not stay on top of the chain from the bottom and have up to date, correct information. Our solicitor even called me to comment on how they’ve handled this to be a complete joke. I’m local to castle Donington but moving out of the area which is probably why little care has been taken to look after our interests. I’ve advised all friends and families in CD not to use them going forwards, so far they’ve lost two local house sales as I’ve advised them to go with another estate agent. Hopefully the other competitors in the area will force them to improve their service and not to simply chase the commission.
18th Mar 2024 (13 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

23rd Apr 2024 (7 weeks ago)During the last 6 years, I've moved 7 times on account of my job and without reservation, the experience I have had with Ewemove has been the best I've ever had so far. I would like to especially mention Amy-Louise Richardson, who personally looked after me and my wife throughout our tenancy. She not only has excellent knowledge about the properties that she shows people and the localities where they are but unlike other agencies, she doesn't hand you over to a colleagues and personally looks after you throughout. In Amy, we found a friend and I will forever remain grateful for all the help she has provided and I am sad to be leaving the property I was in. All the best for all of your hard work.
26th Sep 2023 (8 mo. ago)We've had a bad experience through the whole process of selling a property. They over value the property and fix their fee. Then advised us to put on at a lower guide price so we didn't get the price for the property we wanted. Your fixed in a contract with them for 16 weeks. The agent that was doing a viewing let a family member of our buyer tamper with the electric box and leave it unscrewed with fuses left out. We then had to wait 3 days for them to send an electrician round to sort it out.
