She always made herself available and provided very professional service. We also had some support from Tim which was really helpful. Thank you very much for making a potentially very stressful experience much more bearable!

6th Jun 2024 (8 days ago)Shame I’ve had to do this, Connells were an amazing agency while i lived with them (albeit the organisation of a fish). The downside here is the move out was terrible. It’s been over a month since I moved out, leaving the house immaculate (inventory reported 0 issues) yet it’s now approaching 6 weeks since I’ve moved out without any clarification on what’s happening with my deposit apart from they’re waiting on the landlord.. since 28 May! AVOID AT ALL COSTS
28th May 2024 (17 days ago)If I could give less than 1 star I would. I would never rent from this or any other associated companies ever again and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. The experience I had from the time my tenancy ended until I had my deposit partially returned was nothing short of farcical. Their lack of communication and unwillingness to help or address any of my concerns made the process of moving significantly more stressful than it needed to be. They were far more interested in money, they have no desire to provide a decent service for their tenants. I ended up losing a portion of my deposit for which was completely unnecessary cleaning purely due to the fact that I was given the run around from the day I moved out. Had I not reluctantly agreed this saga would still be ongoing and I wouldn't have had any of my money returned. They repeatedly lied about the reason for a sudden increase in this pricing, refused point blank to provide an invoice, refused to listen to any concerns I had and effectively refused to discuss anything until I threatened to seek legal advice. Only then did I receive a phone call. This person was unable give any reason or address any of my concerns, and could not tell me why I was unable to have any sort of invoice. They also lied that the landlord had contacted me when he had not. Even after agreeing to pay these (illegal) cleaning fees just so I could be done with the whole situation it still took a further email and telephone call to have my money returned. Absolute joke of an agency. Avoid at all costs. If you do happen to rent with them take photographs of everything because they will use any excuse under the sun to keep your money.

18th Mar 2024 (13 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
21st May 2024 (24 days ago)Great service, very professional but personal also. Mark held our hands through the whole process, which had a few bends along the way, but he kept the train rolling. Sold really fast, well 1st viewing, first day, so very lucky, not even time to put up a forsale board up. Special thanks to Mark and Stan ????????
10th May 2024 (5 weeks ago)I’ve been renting with Winkworth for the past 2.5 years. All along the process, they were extremely professional, quick to respond and always friendly. They never needed to be chased, they would chase you to get the issues resolved. Everytime something would go wrong with the property, I would have it sorted within 24 hours. They go above and beyond to make sure their tenants are happy. Big shout out to Natasha, Kayleigh and Ian. Strongly recommend them.

Lewis knew exactly what I need at the first meeting, shortly we viewed the right house for me. He is very professional, knowledgeable, friendly and communicated very clearly. He answered all my questions, and made time to view the property again. Everybody says that buying a house is stressful, but in my situation I can say it was an easy, enjoyable process, which took 8 weeks from the first viewing to completion. Lewis is a great asset to the team, I am very grateful to all of them for helping me buy my dream home! I would highly recommend OB!

The stuff working there in the letting department are very very rude especially the manager. We been left with no heating or hot water for 3 days and we have a child, everytime when called been told we are not the only ones and they have a lot more rented houses to take care of. Only when I told her that I will contact the council she send someone to fix it straight away. She always very rude on the phone, I am not sure how she even have a position like this. I would avoid this agency!!!
