Zoe and Louise in Meanwood, Leeds branch have been excellent from day one. Our experience has been great. We are tenants but I am sure to use Cornerstone as agency if I have ever to let a property for myself.
Cornerstone promised an excellent service and they delivered. James, Justin and Zoe were friendly, efficient and a pleasure to work with. They show that estate agents can be human!
Parklane recently let my apartment in Brewery Wharf. The whole process from the initial visit through to finding a tenant was smooth and efficient. It's a fully managed service that is free for the first 6 months which saved me over £600. Would highly recommend.
Had a terrible experience renting a student property from Parklane Properties in Headingley, Leeds. They have a £75 admin fee - per person when you sign up, which is extortionate and they did not tell us about before signing, and I never received my deposit back. They took a very long time to respond to problems with the house, some of which were never fixed, and did not contact us before viewings.
The lettings team made becoming a landlord very smooth for me! They’re trained to know all new legislation so made me feel at ease and very knowledgable over renting my first home! They also got £100 higher RENT for the area!!!! Excellent work

terrible service. had a broken title in our house roof so rain went down our bedroom wall on the inside the entire time we lived there and every time they came to 'look' they couldn't see anything and blamed us.
then when they were having viewings to rent the property again and the rain was down the wall within 10 minutes they had a guy over to fix it.
DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. they rely on students not knowing their rights and being fobbed off with fake excuses. Worst letting agents I have ever used in my entire life.
I can't recommend them enough. Everyone was so helpful especially Kyle who looked after me and my husband for the whole year we were with them. When asked to get things mended when they were broken, they were quick to get this sorted and the landlord was happy to agree these. Thanks so much for a stress free year. We rented through this company for a year until our tenancy ran out recently. I would not recommend renting through this company if they were the only estate agents left in Leeds!
We had numerous communication problems with them throughout the year. We would ring to inform them of problems with the flat and this would not be followed up. They would lie and say they had passed the problem onto the landlord however when we would speak to the landlord at a later date he would deny having known about it. When the washing machine broke Martha was most unhelpful in the matter and told us we would have to ring to arrange a replacement or fixture of the machine. This is not a tenants responsibility, this should have been sorted by themselves or the landlord. This resulted in a £30 phone call to Hoover to get a replacement to which they wouldn’t refund to me, despite it costing me money and time to sort out the problem for them.
At the end of our tenancy we had various problems in getting our deposit money back. At the final inspection a few issues were raised to us, some we agreed to be our fault, others such as a few cleaning issues we sorted that day. Alec then said the deposit would be sorted and refunded in around 3-5 days. He then got back to us with a list of problems he had not raised to us on the day of inspection which delayed us getting our deposit back and caused unnecessary stress. We rang the office and left messages several times to sort the issues and query what was happening with the deposit to which nobody would reply. It took Alec 24 days to get back to us with a figure in order to resolve the issue with the deposit. It then took a further 3-4 weeks to negotiate and actually receive our deposit money back.
At one phone call during this time Alec, who I believe to be a senior person of the business, was most unhelpful and always biased in the landlords favour.
Not all employees were the same. Kyle was always polite and helpful when we called. It’s a shame the same can’t be said for the rest of the employees here.
Overall we found these people to be untrustworthy, rude with appalling customer service. After renting for 6 years I have never come across as many problems as I have encountered with this company. Avoid at all costs.

Rated 1 because there isn’t a ZERO. Most of their housing is in areas where you really wouldn’t want to live. Repairs, if they bother doing them at all are bodged because staff aren’t given long enough to do the job properly.
Various things are charged for and not provided or used by the person paying the bill.
Top company at placating, BS and lies.
Don’t blame the office staff or the front facers. Blame those with the big salaries, large desks and lots of leave.
