Really happy with the service from this local Leith company. From start to finish they got cracking and moved the whole process along smoothly. Jayne is the estate agent and does a great job in showing the best of your house. If I hadn't been selling it, I would have bought it again after Jane took the pictures and videos. We got the right offer in just 10 days. Cameron took over the case once the offer was agreed. His professional manner and calm demeanor helped reduce any worries. My partner and I have now used Cameron Stephen & Co twice to purchase and sell our properties and have found their service to be absolutely excellent. In our experience as first time buyers, Cameron guided us through the steps with patience, explaining the unfamiliar process and always keeping us fully informed of how our purchase was progressing. When both buying and selling together we were teamed up with Jayne, whose expert knowledge of the temperamental property market aided us in navigating these recent tumultuous times. She provided us with relevant knowledge on all properties we were considering, giving us context on the area and sales of recent comparable properties. Jayne helped us to market our flat really effectively, and had our property photographed, arranged a home report and then marketed within a week of successfully offering on a new house. We were thrilled with the amount of interest our property gained and with the outcome of our sale, and found Jayne to be very clear and prompt in her communication with us. Cameron yet again undertook the conveyancing aspect really efficiently and provided very helpful reports that explained all aspects of our offer, purchase, deed etc. Our completion day and move went really smoothly thanks to this. Very highly recommended!!! My wife and I recently bought our first house, and Cameron and Hazel were incredibly supportive throughout the whole process. We did not know anything about buying a house, but Hazel and Cameron did a great job of explaining everything to us very clearly. Our sellers' solicitor was very slow, but Cameron did a fantastic job of continually following up with her to make the process faster. If you are buying a house, I really recommend doing so via Cameron Stephen. A lot of my friends were very frustrated when buying a house with other solicitors. But I had a completely positive experience with Cameron Stephen & Co. They provide great support, do everything very quickly and always get back to you very quickly! We have used Cameron Stephen for our first home purchase 5 years ago and we were so extremely happy with the professional care, competitive fees and all the support they provided, that we were back this second time around for buying and selling too! Once again they have surpassed our expectations, such a lovely bunch of people, we can't recommend them enough! Jayne McAllister has been the best estate agent we could have wished for, we sold our home after only 2 days on the ESPC market! That's incredible, from the correspondence, to the professional photography and marketing, everything was done very promptly and to the highest standard. Same with our purchase, she has been so helpful for months and months through searching for the perfect new home and she has been patiently responding to all our emails and questions and we managed to find the dream home for us together! Astounded by the absolute hard graft and dedication this team offer at such a fantastic price! Extremely fast response time, almost every call answered in a couple of rings, emails answered in the day and on most occasions within the hour, advice and factual research given to support decisions - without even being asked or expected. A kind hearted, extremely professional team, that communicate very clearly with one another to make the dream happen for you. We SOLD AND BOUGHT with Cameron Stephen and CO and can’t get over the service they gave us from the start to end. SELLING Jayne kicked us off with her bubbly personality, down to earth straight taking and most importantly her negotiation skills and knowledge of the market are on top form. Jayne won us our dream house thanks to her skills and charm! (She also takes amazing photos and does a fabulous write up if you are selling!) Hazel works like a trouper never letting an email or call slip though - if a call wasn’t answered you knew she was taking her well deserved lunch! It was fab having Hazel there for us as we knew all of our viewing requests to see our flat we were selling would never slip through when Hazel was in charge. When you are then buying you appreciate and realise how many agencies don’t answer calls and each missed call is one less potential buyer if you can’t get through. Not when you have a Hazel! BUYING And last but not least Fiona. Who worked tirelessly to make sure we were safe in our purchase - which the first (almost) purchase we were not. Fiona helped us halt and start over again and get us the home we deserved. This meant double the work for her and took a lot of her time, energy and patience and she stood by us step by step in her calm and reassuring manner. She also worked even harder to let us into our beautiful new home one week earlier at our request by spinning all of her plates for us. Fiona also had her own Fiona - another amazing team member with the same name- and when she wanted to quicken things along we had x2 Fiona’s working together to spin even more plates at once!
