Until you pay everything goes well and then it’s just a joke.
Just to mention a few:
- moved in a brand new building, the door lock broke once, they advised me to go to an hotel for the night while waiting for the next day. Then they refused to pay for the room they told me they will pay and stopped replying to my emails, very unprofessional
- lots of things weren’t working in my flat when J moved in and they didn’t help at all. I had to deal with everything
- didn’t even get a proper check out document

Horrible agency. Chasing 4 months before the ending date of the agreement on a daily basis, harassing and emailing at 11 in the evening for a 20% rental increase after 2 years I am living in the property and paying the rent on time. Stay away from these harassing and rude people - the worse agency in London and maybe in the world.... Read more

Horrendous company - rented a property from them in Manchester and were screwed over completely. Charged our deposits for unreasonable things and then left bad referencing for next flat.
I would advise anyone considering renting with CityZEN to stay away. You will ultimately be taken advantage of by typical letting agents!... Read more

I have worked with Cityzen since 2006, having bought from them and now use them to find and manage tenants. More recently, I had a flat had the with a leak in the roof. COVID-19 and a painful freeholder meant it took ages to get sorted. Thankfully though, Danny and team at Cityzen were amazing. He kept on it for me, hammering away with contractors, insurance companies, even the managing agent, schooling them in how to get stuff done! -------------------------You did indeed inherit the tenancy, this is about the only factually correct point made on your reply. You certainly did not honour the agreement, as you did not provide the cleaning supplies in month two nor did you provide netflix as per the original agreement + much more, unless of course you are able to show invoices for all the services you honoured whilst managing our property. I look forward to seeing your evidence, same way I have prepared mine.
I certainly did not demand money to leave, again I look forward to seeing your proof of this false accusation, It was infact Jeremys idea to pay us to leave early, again.. I have written proof, which I have equipped my solicitor with.
As per the agreement of our contract, we were only liable to pay for the cleaning costs of our rooms and the entire flat clean was the responsibility of the agent, so please do not make yourself appear to be Samaritans, you done what you were contracted to do (for once) and again I am awaiting the cleaning invoice and do look forward to reviewing. Infact your manager director Jeremy, agreed that I will cover my half of the cleaning the bill and my ex housemate will cover the other half, within a few hours he goes ahead and charges me the full amount and demands I claim the money from my ex housemate who I am no longer in contact with, again I have written evidence, timestamped with Jeremys email signature visible. --------------------------------------------------
------ Again my point of cleaners costing £15 an hour is not factually wrong, given I have cleaners in my own home who charge £15 an hour for 2-3 hours or £10 an hour for the entire day, I am going off the price I pay them, £8.36 is the current minimum wage and I think £15 an hour is a fair price to pay and I look forward to seeing the invoice to see 'how much you pay these cleaners' I will ofcourse make sure to confirm the pricing with the agency to make sure you are not overcharging on invoices.
I am glad you have pointed out on record that Jeremy is a managing director, as I have a series of emails and text messages whereby he is swearing at me and telling me to go F myself on multiple occasions in a very aggressive tone, see proof attached. Given what we have all been through, with the pandemic, it has been a difficult time for me, given im on 24 years of age and still very new to my professional career, Jeremy has not only made me feel unsafe, but also had psychological effects on me, whereby I am seeing a professional now about the trauma Jeremey has caused me.
You claim you would leave a review about me, I look forward to hearing why and seeing proof as to why I am a bad tenant? Given there was not a single complaint about me, only now Ive spoken out I am a 'bad' tenant. --------------

We were looking for a flat to rent and we found this agency who had one flat in which we were interested. Everything went smoothly from day 1 till we signed the contract which took around 2 weeks and that's because we had to wait for our references. Very professional team they kept us updated every time when something was changing in our application. I would like to mention here Metin who presented us the property, Andy who meet with us and gave us the keys and explained what we need to do next and not the last Noah who kept in touch with us since the beginning and helped us with the documents and answered to all out questions.
