I’m actually amazed at how bad this office is. Once you’ve signed up the customer service and help disappears. Staff just simply don’t care and the managers are even worse- (lettings) and I’m a landlord btw!!

Drove 40 min for arranged viewing of house. Waited 15 min outside just to get to know that house has been sold. No email, no call… unprofessional.

Don’t use Chancellors (Sunbury, Bracknell) they don’t have any interest in landlords or tenants . They illegally retained 3 months rent for no reason had to threaten to leave them before they released the rent. Then extended an outdated agreement that had someone who no longer owned the property. Then I found out they were charging the wrong rent. So many phone calls lots of messages left no one contacted me to resolve the matter or explain why. Poor poor poor management. Also beware on them selling no deposit schemes, just check with the tenants that they haven’t got a deposit it’s just Chancellor way of making more money. Went to the ombudsman they agreed that I had a case against Chancellors, awarded compensation.
I thought that the estate agent business had clean up there act,

I can say, wholeheartedly, that your sales negotiator Brandon Tomkins at your Sunbury on Thames branch is an awesome asset to your team. He is a rare gem of an agent, who went above and beyond his duties to assist me on my property purchase matter. I am also just completely amazed by how kind, friendly, understanding and honest he was. He really took his time to listen to me and my circumstances/property requirements, as there was not one occasion where he made me feel rushed, or that I was wasting his time. There was also not one occasion where I felt that I was being pushed into anything due to any potential commission being earned by him, and his interactions with me never once felt like a sales pitch. It was like having a friendly conversation with a best friend about purchasing a property, rather than a salesman who was only interested in making a profit/earning as much commission as possible. From my experience of dealing with other sales negotiators at other rival estate agents, Brandon has so far been the best and I think that other sales negotiators at other leading rival agents could certainly learn a thing or two from him. Purchasing a property is an extremely stressful process, but Brandon’s knowledgeable and unbiased honest advice certainly helped to put my mind at ease. From my initial dealings with him, I got the overall impression that Brandon is certainly one of the best agents I have encountered and I would certainly feel more than happy with trusting him to help me purchase my first home.

We have worked with Chancellors for 2 years as they rented out our property. I cannot adequately express how unsatisfactory our experience has been.
They have made mistakes that caused us financial implications (£3,000+). They have not responded to emails and neglected to answer phone calls. It took them four days to get in touch with us when our boiler broke, leaving our tenants without hot water for four days, despite having a fully managed service.
They changed our electricity and water suppliers without our permission while we lived in the property, resulting in an unexpected £600 bill at an inflated rate. When we raised the issue, they ignored our complaint. This pattern of ignoring concerns seems to be common. If you ask them a challenging question to which they do not know the answer, they simply ignore it.
While they promise a clean and efficient service, I cannot tolerate how poorly they have treated us over the past two years.
Just to note we emailed the Directors@ email address 6 days ago and we only received a holding email yesterday.

Have rented my flat out with them for 5 years and their service is awful. They can’t even get the basics right like sending me an email. I have to chase them for updates and this has been an ongoing issue. If you can, avoid them as the service is just unprofessional.

Working with Chancellors at Sunbury was a great experience. They are highly professional and very knowledgeable, guiding us at each stage. We felt like they truly had our best interests at heart while working with us. Although our property did not sell during our partnership, I really want to commend the efforts put in by them. Despite the challenges faced due to the current market trend, they showed dedication and determination in trying to market our property. Their consistent communication and advice were always helpful, and they did their best to attract potential buyers. I definitely recommend Chancellors for a reliable and trustworthy estate agent. As a second time buyer we both sold and purchased a new property through Chanellors Sunbury. Luke was exceptional throughout the entire process. After talking with luke for 10 minutes, he knew exactly what type of house we wanted and found it. Olivia assisted in the sale and purchase and was approachable, informative and profressional. We are very greatful that Luke and Olivia helped us through the sale and purchase.
