When deciding to sell our family business in Bethnal Green we chose this company as we wanted to stick with people in the East End of London. I let my property through Ellis and Co. and my experience with them have been very good. In recent years Kier has been my main contact and he, together with Abi and other members of the staff, has been great looking after the flat, sending reports regularly and fixing any problems in the flat promptly. I highly recommend them.

We bought our flat through Ellis & Co about 8 years ago and we now rent it out to tenants. The fantastic thing about Ellis & Co is their personal touch - you get to know the team really well. They really care about the properties and the people who live within them. They are a local business so are really familiar with Bethnal Green and the surrounding area. They make great recommendations if you need to get repairs done, or buy replacement furniture, on a budget without compromising on standards. I think they're fantastic people to work with - great fun and very friendly and professional.

We rented out our one bedroom apartment with Ellis & Co through Ashley for a year, and the experience was a nightmare.
We realised after one year that the bedroom went completely mouldy and the tenant was complaining about it for 6 months… pictures attached.
We actually received the pictures and info through another agency who were amazing and life savers.
We never got pictures or notes from the contractual quarterly inspections, even after chasing Ashley multiple time over the phone and emails. He always found excuses and would push back.
It cost us thousands in repair plus three months unable to rent it out.
Ashley was by far the worst person I had to deal with from a professional standpoint.

We let a property with Ellis & Co Bethnal Green and they were great throughout the tenancy. Particular thanks to Adam, he made the initial letting process really smooth and was super helpful with any questions we had from the start of the tenancy until the end. They also managed the property and jumped on fixing any problems that popped up in the property, so would definitely recommend them to anyone renting in East London.
