Atkinson McLeod was founded in 2002 by Dan McLeod and Giles Atkinson. From the very beginning, Dan and Giles noticed the market was becoming more and more service led. As a result, they set up an estate agency with a strong service ethos. Plus, they encouraged the team to build long-term relationships with clients.
The business launched with its first office in the City. Others followed closely in Kennington, Balham, Hackney and Canary Wharf to service the growing needs of the market. Each branch covers local areas within around a mile radius of the office.

Very unprofessional letting agency. I was told my offer was accepted and was prepared to pay the deposit. I did not hear back in days, once I called them they stated that the property has been let to someone else without giving me any notice. They lied about trying to contact me and not being able to reach me. I would not recommend this agency to anyone. Save your time and money!!

Very good experience working with Atkinson Macleod I purchased property through them in 2013 and just sold property in 2022 currently I was looked after by Danny Duarte who has expert level negotiation level very friendly I am very satisfied with their positive effort thank you very much ????

Horrible experience. Viewed a flat for rent which was incredibly dirty and messy. The estate agent lied and said the place would be professionally cleaned before moving in so we agreed a let. When we moved in it had not been cleaned and it was incredibly dirty and greasy throughout. The landlord said they never promised a professional clean and when reaching out to the estate agent he just said it’s no longer his problem and refused to help.

I have been looking for a place in London and arrange a viewing 3 days ago with AM. I was told the only viewing slot was at 3pm so I took the afternoon off work. I received an email at 1pm on that day to confirm the viewing.
I travelled all the way across london and arrived at the property. Then 10 minutes before the viewing was about to start I got a call from the agency saying it was cancelled, as it had been given to someone else.
No respect for customers, I understand the london housing market is crazy but no decency to tell me with more than 10 mins notice. (Also no apology) I would avoid AM at all costs.

Seriously Bad Property Managers
I engaged this company to let and manage my apartment as I live overseas. They did not advice me on legal requirements and proceeded to let the property illegally. They allowed my property to fall into a complete state of dis repair despite me paying for regular redecorating and repairs. There seems to be an almost weekly turnover of staff and you can never get hold of anyone. They don't reply to emails and in the end I had to step in and manage things with the tenants directly. The tenants also informed me they had a similiar experience. Dont let these people let or manage your property they are completely irresponsible

We used Atkinson Mcleod for our house move into London. The service was very smooth and the property is lovely. We are four happy tenants. Jo-Anne was our estate agent and was particularly helpful; on the day of receiving the keys she willingly stayed until well after office hours in order to make sure out move in happened that day, I personally am very grateful for this.

After looking for a flat for a student placement, we managed to find one really easily. Robert Paul was extremely helpful and responded to any queries I had really quickly. He also put in a good wood for us when putting an offer in for the flat which was really appreciated
