New Build Sales team has been very helpful since the very beginning when I saw the property I was interested in. They helped me a lot during the references procedure, which caused me few issues but they have found the best deal between me and Landord and I moved in my new flat in one week time. Sometimes communication was a bit slow but they were always happy to answer all my questions and give me advices.

Buyer beware
My partner and I recently tried to purchase a flat in Woolwich through New Build Sales. We negotiated a price that was agreed with the developer and went ahead with all of the legal searches etc. The day before exchange of contracts, we were suddenly contacted by Alex at NBS who informed us that the developer wanted more money or would withdraw from the sale. It was a significant sum of money, increasing the purchase price by 6%. When we asked the reason for this, we were told the developer 'just wants more money'.
We declined to pay the increased price and said we would discuss our next steps as a couple before responding. Despite this, Alex went back to the developer and told them we had agreed to pay the additional £25,000. We refused to pay more than the price we had agreed three months earlier and the sale ultimately fell through, but not before our solicitor had drawn down funds from the lender (believing everything was on course to exchange/complete on an agreed date) which has caused us all sorts of headaches. We were also forced to move out of our rented property as we had already given notice, believing we were just days away from completing. All in all, a nightmare.
New Build Sales provided zero support during all of this, were rude and unpleasant to deal with, and were slow in responding to the most basic requests such as agreeing a time for the valuation survey to take place - making the entire process even more painful than it needed to be.
Finally, it's worth noting that all of the positive Google reviews you see here have been lined up by one of their sales agents, who emailed us just before we were due to complete, sharing the link to Google Places and asking if we could write something positive as it could impact her "promotion opportunities".
Avoid if you can. There are plenty of other estate agents in London!

Overall bad experience dealing with Alex at New Build Sales,
He was half an hour late to our first viewing, with no apology. Oh he also gave the wrong house number so we couldn’t find the property
Kept sending us through properties with 3 beds, (there were 6 of us wanting to rent together)
Second viewing, he was also late again, with no apology, also extremely rude, didn’t even acknowledge that I was waiting outside the house, walked straight past me on a phone call and continued to ignore me.
When I said to him oh no apology and you have just out right ignored me, he then replied with I quote ‘Do you want me to cancel the viewing then? Do you want me to give it to someone else’
He then was on a phone call the whole time I looked around the house.

A great company, they treat you respectfully regardless of your circumstances, it's a refreshing experience based on my prior experience with other property agents.
The property agent I dealt with was Lucy. I was having some difficulties with communication with my solicitor and the seller solicitor. She was very empathetic to my frustrations and during times of impasse between both solicitors she was always available to talk and provide solutions to tackling the problem. She gave me insight into the process of how solicitors work, and offered advice on how I should deal with the problematic situations. This was valuable advice, I believe it helped get things moving forward.

Lucy was informative and willing to be flexible when viewing the properties. She's knowledgeable about the area and also was willing to provide advice in other london regions too. She was genuine and was not aggressive in pursuing sales which I appreciate.

We had a great experience with New Build Sales and our new flat at Wick Tower, Woolwich. Lucy Tuong responded really quickly to our general enquiry and within a couple of days we had placed our deposit. Lucy was very helpful responding to our queries all the way through to completion and beyond, and helped us reach completion in little over 3 weeks including Xmas / New Year. Lucy was friendly, knowledgeable and easy to deal with. We are really pleased with the quality of the property and the service we received from New Build Sales and Lucy. We would definitely recommend them to others.
