AVOID 1st CHOICE PROPERTIES. It was an awful experience living in one of the properties managed by 1st Choice Properties. The renting process took ages and in the end, there was no contract. The responsible for the house, Shane, took it with no commitment. It was impossible to contact him. there are emails that we sent to him more the 6 months ago and he hasn't replied yet. I moved into the middle of May 2022, sublet room. The previous tenant and I discussed everything by email and this agency requested me some docs. I have emails to prove it. However, only now, after 9 months they realised it. For my new place, I needed a reference. It was the only opportunity I could contact him by calling the agency. He said that I should ask my new landlord to request it by email. I have the email to proof. He did it a month ago but hasn't heard back from Shane yet. By the way, I am impressed by how quickly they replied to this, review (different from answering our emails/phone calls).... Read more

From viewing the property, check-in, any questions whilst living at the property and right through to check-out, Mark, Kelly and the team provide a great service with an added personal touch that makes the process a lot easier and smoother. We had a great experience in getting a property with 1st choice properties. For the viewings Shane was prompt and gave us a good walk through. Our tenancy agreement was as expected with no hidden surprises and we were given a comprehensive inventory that accurately reflected the state of the property. I would not use this agency ever!!!!!!! They are rude, stuck up and lazy they don't want to do the work to make the money they want to get the money with out the work.
