I had rented a flat through Berkshire Estate Agents (Lee Clarke) where first months rent and deposit/fees was paid. After 6 years; I received Section 21 from the owner of the flat which left me in shock, knowing my rent were always paid on time. Were able to communicate with the owner of the flat to learn that monies were not being paid to her. Left the flat in April 2018 and to date have not receive my deposit, which was NOT registered in any scheme. To date, I am pursuing this case. For all who have been affect by (Bershire Esate Agents) Mr. Lee Clarke, I will say to you, do not stop pursing your case against him. To think we put our trust in Agencies and to hand over our hard earnings, thinking that our families will have a safe and secure home to be forcefully evicted with no direction or help in finding the next affordable home for our families.... Lee held back rent without any reason and provided very poor service. I was forced to terminate contract with him since he did not pay rent collected from Tenant for over 3 months. He did not protect deposit either. I had to pay termination fees in the end to settle the dispute. The price paid for service rendered was very HIGH. Stay away from this agent... Read more

I had the misfortune of letting out property through Lee. He never paid the rent collected on time. He did not protect the deposit. He charged a hefty fee but none of his obligations were completed. I was lucky to escape from his clutches! I paid him termination fee and ended relationship.... Read more

Just like another Landlord posted.... Lee Clarke of Berkshire Estate Agents Ltd has STOLEN a significant amount of our money. He has diligently collected rent from our tenant over many months, but THEN KEPT IF FOR HIMSELF. He is always "unavailable" but if you do manage to contact him, he just lies & breaks promises. It is unlikely that Berkshire Estate Agents know how to spell Service, yet alone deliver one. Lee Clarke owes me several months rent so I'm going through the The Property Ombudsman remediation process. It's long winded, but I know I will win this case and Lee will have to pay me compensation. I urge others to report Lee Clarke and Berkshire Estate Agents to Slough Trading Standards. Formal investigations will take place once enough complaints are raised.... Read more

Lee Clarke of Berkshire Estate Agents Ltd has stolen a significant amount of my money, by collecting a substantial amount of rent from the tenant over many months, and then keeping that money for himself. I did some research on Lee Clarke.Do you know that another estate agency (“Berkshire Property Services”) was run out of exactly the same address from where Lee Clarke is running his agency? Apparently, the owner of that agency collected tens of thousands of pounds of landlords’ money and disappeared to Spain in around 2012 (checkout Marbellepads.com). Please know that you can not only take Berkshire Estate Agents to court, you can sue Lee Clarke personally (as Director) for fraud. Also, please register your complaints with Slough Trading Stands Commission. I have already done so; they have said that they will be able to move forward more swiftly if other victims also come forward with their evidence. You might also be interested to know that if Trading Standards Commission take up the matter, it will be a criminal case; therefore, Lee Clarke may well also do jail time if convicted. BTW, can anyone recommend a good law firm in Slough? I live outside slough; I have been told that it would be best to instruct a Slough firm because they would be able to link up with Lee Clarke’s other victims. Therefore, if you know any good law firm in Slough, please post the name here.... Read more

This Lee is the nephew of Shane Sprenger, who apparently has left this country and is running a fraud in Spain under the name of Marbella Pads. I am owed around £5k since 2008 and they simply closed down the firm and started it in a new name. whoever i meet that has used this firm whether its in the old name or the new name, they have nothing to say but curses and curses and curses on the entire bullies who run this firm. They need to be dealt with by law, its a pity matters cant be dealt with in any other way.... Read more

Another very angry and upset Landlord. Lee Clarke, the sole director, is a fraudster who has withheld months and months of my rent. Like others, my complaint is with the Ombudsman. I have also gone to the police and I would encourage all other Landlords to get in touch with Slough CID as well as they are very interested in investigating the fraud that Lee is carrying out.... Lee Clarke the owner and his part time team are fraudsters and liars and legally need closing down. They withold rent, take people out the back away from hiss cctv to sign contracts (because they are not always legal). Locks the door during business hours as he has so many threats from people he has conned. There are plenty of good agents close by so avoid Berkshire Estates as they will rip you off... Read more

Lee is the biggest cow boy in slough do not trust him landlords he will not pass on the rent he will not give deposit back.he keeps his shop door locked for a reason? Lee and all his staff are all involved in outright fraud. Complete and blatant fraud. Let out my property on a finders fee and took 6months rent from the tenant and not paid the landlord a penny. Does not return deposits to tenants either. Referred case to solicitor, property obudsman, fraud watch and trading standards. He needs to be charged in a criminal court so he stops doing this to more people or before he does a runner.... Read more

Do not use this agency. The owner Lee caused me so much stress I ended up suffering from anxiety and sickness. Didn’t pay our rent unless we chased. Advertised under the value we needed to make it worthwhile. He Threatened me with courts if I said I would take this further and didn’t send me a contract. I felt so stressed and bullied. A number of landlords have raised this agency with the ombudsman.... Read more

DO NOT TRUST THE DIRECTOR. Landlords - please do not rent your property through Mr Lee Clarke and his company. He has withheld nearly £3000 of rental income , despite my tenants paying on time , each month. I complained to The Property Ombudsman who ruled in my favour. They directed him to pay me compensation and pay money outstanding. He failed to do so. They have given him two further deadlines and he has still not paid me. They are now escalating the matter further. Lee is a thief. He is a bully. He is not to be trusted.... Read more

Completely unreliable service. They take the tenants rent and simply do not pass it onto you. We are chasing many thousands of pounds of unpaid rent. Lee is a liar, thief and a cowboy. This type of company should not be allowed to operate in the property market. We will be escalating our complaint and ensuring other do not suffer like us.... Read more
