I am extremely impressed with Hamptons in Dorking and would thoroughly recommend! Simon, Joanna and the rest of the team were fantastic and made the process of selling my house as stress free as possible. Communication throughout each stage from valuation to viewings to convos with mine and the eventual buyers' solicitors was all prompt, efficient and always transparent. Even whilst my house was left unoccupied as I'd had to move over to north London they regularly went by and checked in on it to make sure all was secure, as well as even going over to adjust heating settings on my behalf to make sure it faired the recent freezing cold bout of winter weather! I am so grateful and thankful to have had their services, they really do go above and beyond, thanks again all :)... Read more

I can’t speak too highly of the service and support which Hamptons, Dorking gave me during the sale of my property. This coincided with a sudden disruption to the economy but Simon Jordan did everything possible to solve the problems which came up. He helped with a variety of unexpected planning and regulatory issues and was tireless and proactive in keeping in touch with me and my eventual buyer. I never felt that I had to phone for information on the progress of my sale since he kept me constantly up to date and nothing was too much trouble for him. I’m able to look back on what could have been a worrying time and feel that everything was done to help me through the process without stress. My wife and I appointed Hamptons of Dorking this summer (2023) in arguably the toughest market for selling property in recent memory; interest rates were up, prices were dropping and buyers were fickle. We had found a new project we loved and needed to move fast in an attempt to secure it. Their approach was no nonsense, analytical and well considered. We looked at similar properties together, benchmarked pricing and considered how best to present the key selling features of our home. The result was impressive - and 16 weeks later, we have moved. The whole team at Hamptons were exceptional. Moving fast, with clear communication and a high level of strategic management and advice. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Hamptons took on the task of selling my parents' property in Dorking at the very end of last year and within the first few months a buyer was found. The twists and turns of associated sales within the chain made for a slightly bumpy ride over the summer but the sale was completed two weeks ago in mid-September. Throughout the journey, Simon has been extremely courteous and sensitive with my elderly mother giving her just the right amount of information to reassure, but not to worry. Simon is very well supported by his team in Dorking, including Annie and Joanna; collectively, they appear to share relevant information extremely well, which meant I could always get timely answers to my questions no matter who remained in the office. We have now used Hamptons in Dorking for two sales and two purchases. Each of these was complex due to things like the pandemic halting the process, difficult probate issues, and rising interest rates causing uncertainty in the housing market. Hamptons, and Annie in particular guided and supported us through all four of these transactions, whilst offering clear, professional and friendly advice. Hamptons Dorking worked closely with us to find out ‘forever’ family home in an area where only a few properties come to market. During the search they really took the time to understand our requirements as a family and were very pro-active in contacting us about details of properties, including those not listed on public property websites (one such property is now our home). Went in to ask about letting and a woman in there laughed and said you can’t let from here witch I thought was pretty rude but the other lady was super nice and gave me a card from there place in Reigate I think and said to call them as they do the lettings hopefully that other lady might take a leaf from her book next time and be a little nicer to people in the future...
