Just like the last review, I have purchased a new build via Lanes New Homes in Hertford. Kerry was also our main contact and was exceptional although to be honest the wider sales team are also very good.

BUYERS LEA WHALF development beware!! - do not in anyway buy via this Estate Agent on a new build property; please it really is not worth it regardless of the condition / location of the property. They quickly get you to exchange to hold your money and then they pull the contract from under you - when you had items of information being presented in 2x weeks. Their main goal is to get people to hold properties to take the funds / sales. Company check the developer for cash status. The value of their holding deposit is to the sum of a top property in central London which is totally dis-propionate to this site which in itself is a RED FLAG, as their concern is to get sales for the developer. As they have no concern for your position or any regard for willingness to negotiate any terms to protect your exchange. If you go with this Company you could be suffering for many years to come as all they do is take your money.

I would like to say a huge thank you to Ed Bird, Marc Gravenor and their team for their support to reach completion on the sale of my property. This sale, like a lot of sales, didn’t go through smoothly but with their expertise, experience and patience, smoothed the road until the end.
Ed takes out the bad stigma of Estate Agents and proved that not all are under the same umbrella. His caring attitude with vendors and their homes and purchasers alike was next to none in my experience over the years. Nothing was too difficult, even when it was; he kept his caring attitude and sought/found the answers required.
Marc saw it all to the end, again, with difficulties, on Ed’s days off but Marc and his team were a pleasure to deal with and in a calming manner too. Nothing was too much and a successful result was reached.
Once again: a huge thank you from the bottom of my heart to Ed, Marc and their team. Carry on with your caring attitude and put other agents to shame. You all proved, it is not about the money you can make but to reach a successful results and the caring attitude.
