I'm glad they care about Google score and this is a way to have things moving when they got stuck. Issues was raised on 20th October and solved on 20th December after this review.
Initial story:
I was renting with Lauristons until they bought by Hawes. Since that time every single fix became a quest, I'm waiting for months for a dishwasher fix and not even have ETA on the problem.

I am greatly disappointed with the service provided by this agency. Initially, they were incredibly responsive and attentive, but the moment I raised an issue regarding a non-functional oven post-move-in, their support vanished entirely. It has been over 15 days, and I have received no response whatsoever.
Despite multiple attempts to communicate my concerns, my emails seem to have been overlooked, and the property manager's response was dismissive and unhelpful when I contacted her by phone. Not only did the property manager fail to acknowledge the reported issue, but they also displayed a lack of care and professionalism.
Furthermore, the claim that all electrical checks were completed before our move-in is misleading, as we've been facing consistent electrical problems since day one. This negligence and lack of follow-up have made my experience with this agency extremely unpleasant and frustrating.
Overall, the disregard for tenants' concerns and the lack of responsibility for ensuring a habitable living space is something I never expected from a professional agency. I would caution anyone seeking an agent's services to reconsider before engaging with this particular agency, as my encounter with them has been incredibly disappointing and distressing.

Absolutely awful service. Staff doesn't know what they doing, quick to take money but not to give it back,they give you the run around when you phone them. I would not recommend them to any friends or family.

Stephen Ashby @Hawes & Co helped throughout our purchase and I would say he was really responsible and responded very promptly all the time. He followed up on the status from time to time and provided suggestions whenever applicable. I am also glad that he's still offering help to check with the seller on our enquiry after purchase, really appreciated and thank you!

Very positive experience. Stephen Ashby at Hawes and Co was extremely helpful during the sale of our property. He offered sage advice, was always very prompt to respond and kept us up-to-date throughout the process. He also helped throughout the sale process with negotiations with the buyer and addressing their concerns.
