I recently sold my house with Ashtons Harpenden and the process couldn’t have been easier. Jonny was excellent, he really knew who the buyers for my house would be and got lots of viewings very quickly. I ended up with three offers to choose from and Jonny guided me to choose a really good person to sell to… Rebecca was also great during the post sale process and helped maintain a really friendly relationship with the buyer all the way through to completion. What a delight working with such a professional and helpful team from Ashtons in Berkhamsted. Julie was amazing and after a short discussion about our requirements she literally pulled out of a bottom drawer details of a perfect dream house. This was followed up by Alex showing us the house and happily answering numerous questions with detailed knowledge of the house. It has been a delight to work with such a professional company and would highly recommend them. They know their stuff!

So, I am a Tennent at a property Ashtons are selling. I overheard the Viewing guide tell the buyer in not so many words that the neighbour will be happy when I move out.
His reply was that it was the buyer who said this, even though you can hear the viewing guide saying it.
I complained to the Branch Manager Joe Wilkes, this is the reply I received.
" I am sorry for any distress caused but as my mother used to say, ‘sticks and stones may break our bones but words can never hurt me.’ I hope that you are able to get over this quickly."
If Mr. Wilkes watched or even listened to the news, he should realise that name calling does more than break bones.

Sandy Gorton handled the renting of the property and was superb from the word 'go'. He had people round, he chased up to see how interested they were and if they weren;t, why not. His communication with me was excellent. I was kept in the loop throughout the process and, quite honestly, he was like a Knight in shining armour. It did not take him long to find us a tenant and we are very grateful for his hard work, perseverance and charm.
