Although a long distance away from my home in Plymouth, the Jacobs Steel estate agents kept me fully informed about the sale of my house by telephone which I preferred. They contacted the sellers in shoreham by sea when I needed to negotiate. This was very helpful and made buying easier. Jake Cockerton was involved initially and later Richard Wetherall as sales progressor was very diligent and helpful.

The whole experience with Jacobs Steel Shoreham was fantastic. From the moment Matt visited us and gave us the confidence to get our house on the market in order to move into our dream home the service has been fantastic. We then had brilliant support from Richard who kept us in the loop all throughout our buying and selling process, all giving fantastic recommendations of other parties to work with along the way including the brilliant removals All Boxed Ltd. We recently completed on our sale through Jacobs Steel. This is the second time we’ve chosen Jacobs Steel after a failed move a couple of years ago and if we ever move again we would choose them without hesitation.
Jake was probably the only person through the whole experience that fully informed us all the way through and nothing was ever too much trouble no matter how busy he was.
We always felt very informed and in the loop after speaking to him.
Matt was always there to help with any difficult situations and dealt with even the most testing of scenarios with good humour.
Sharon is always so polite and lovely to chat to and it was nice to have such a friendly voice when times where stressful. To everyone we spoke to thank you for your patience and kindness and helping us all the way through probably the hardest move I’ve ever had to go through! If it wasn’t for JS and their amazing team we would have walked away because I don’t think I would have been able to cope!!

I interviewed 3 prominent agents local to Southwick and I immediately felt comfortable with Jacobs Steel. Jake was friendly, professional and very well prepared for our appointment. He gave me time to think, without putting me under any pressure whatsoever. I received an offer above the asking price within days of listing the property with them..Having a sales progressor was a new experience that I highly recommend. For the Shoreham branch: Utterly useless. Classic, slimey estate agents. Dom, in particular, does very little work so make sure he’s not involved in your sale or purchase. Avoid

Recently completed on a property I sold on Shoreham Beach via Jacob’s Steele. I was essentially the last in a very long chain which went on for over a year ! Initially Mat gave me a realistic valuation rather than one I’d received from a different agent that was artificially hiked up which that had led to quite a lot of wasted crucial summer months selling time.
We accepted an offer but to keep it brief it dragged on and on due to solicitors further down the chain being completely incompetent. Dom took over all sales negotiations and truly went above and beyond his normal duties to keep me updated , sometimes hourly. He kept the sale buoyant not only for me but for others lower in the chain that had the misfortune of using poor agents and solicitors. It went to the line , literally the day and thanks to Dom, Mat and the team we exchanged and completed in this dropping market with out any further negotiations. I’d certainly recommend them. Jon EB
