Had our first experience with this branch - poor viewing of a £700k + property. Disinterested; not welcoming; made us pretty much wait 20mins as last viewer was apparently late; volunteered very little information and stood planted in the kitchen while we had to show ourselves around. Having dealt with Corum Shawlands on many occasion I wrongly assumed that all their branches worked to the same high standards- unfortunately they don’t. The worst part was that the viewing was conducted by a branch partner so I’m not surprised at some of the other negative reviews here - organisational culture is set from the top down. We’re now looking at a property in a different area. I wonder how the owners of this property in Giffnock would feel if they knew that as serious cash buyers we’d been turned off the property by this Corum branch.... Read more

I have just bought a house through this branch of estate agents ,and sadly unlike their sister branch at ShawLands the staff I found were arrogant , unhelpful , and at one point I felt they tried to bully me . When I first started my transaction I was dealing with a lady called Tracy who was a absolute gem , then sadly she was no longer there and I had to deal with Mark , Joyce . These two have ruined my experience with Corum as a company and I will never deal with the Newton Mearns branch and would never reccomend them to any one .... Read more
