I recently rented a property through Reeds Rains at Salford Quays and was very impressed with the service provided by Hannah and Ian. They were professional, patient and understanding, and continue to be so. They explained processes and procedures to me and did not over-complicate things.
In the course of my application, I met with a few difficulties. For example, my computer failed to function satisfactorily and so they invited me to their office to resolve paperwork issues. This meant that the handover of keys took place on schedule. Whatever the problem, they were able to come up with a way of negotiating around it and put my mind at ease.
Despite the stress I must have caused them both, Hannah and Ian were cheerful, friendly and welcoming.

I have rented by apartment in Salford Quays with Reeds and Rains for 9 years now and they have fully managed the property too. In this time, they have been excellent in terms of their customer service; guidance; advice; property management; and tenant recruitment. In the 9 years, I think the property has only been vacant for 5-10 days which shows how great they are in advertising the property and tenant recruitment. Amber Tildesley has been my main point of contact and she has been brilliant, going over and beyond to help and advice me regarding anything about my property. As a landlord, renting a property can be daunting and stressful but Amber has made that a lot more easier than expected.
If anyone is thinking to renting their property in Salford Quays, I highly recommend Amber, Ian and the team at Reeds and Rains. Their service is excellent and they are very professional.

Absolutely excellent service from start to finish. I was looking for an apartment for some time and found the process so frustrating. That was before i found Reeds Rains. Initial viewing was arranged quickly (thanks Jessica!) and the application was processed efficiently with the result i moved in within weeks of the first viewing. The legal documentation was produced via their online tenants portal which is excellent by the way! Love the property and cannot praise the team at Reeds Rains, in particular Jessica and Ian who were magnificent throughout!

Genuinely criminally incompetent (tenant in rental property managed by them)
Terrible communication, disorganised, rude, not apologising when mistakes are pointed out, almost no understanding of basic legal matters in Tenancy Agreements, do incredibly short inspections, actually lost one of our payments and then didn't apologise when they found it was their error. When you ask for the landlords contact details they don't reply (illegal) until you point out they are legally obligated to do it! ... Take a lot of pictures and if they try and bullishly tell you they know the law they are often lieing or stupid so double check this with shelter or another relevant organisation. Wish I could give them 0 stars.
Probably not good for landlords either to have this mess going on.
Update 8/11/23: Definitely bad for landlords, we won a claim in court for over £2k (they didnt protect our deposit) and got our entire deposit back (£1380) despite them trying to scare us into paying it all to them. Be very careful with this company they will try and scare you. But also they are quite incompetent so I would check if they have protected your deposit or not
