Absolutely useless. Their Letting Manager sat on the property for 3 months, promised the earth and delivered nothing. Then she told me their Tenancy Manager had recently left the company and they couldn't take my property on. So I'm left with an unnecessary 3 month void period and considerable costs.
Avoid. There are far more competent Lettings Agents to choose from.

We've had nothing but positive experiences so far with John German - our sales negotiator Hannah Sharp has been incredibly helpful, as have the other members of the team I have spoken to. Calls are returned quickly and promptly, information is communicated well, and above all everyone is friendly and personable. I'm hoping we won't need to buy or sell again for several decades now, but would definitely recommend this firm to anyone looking to move.

Laura was fantastic when we moved into our new home! She was quick, made sure we knew where everything was, asked if we had any questions and made us feel welcome to our new place! We’re grateful we have Laura looking after our property whilst we rent! Very fast replies to emails also which helps a lot!

Both the viewing experience and after office support were so well managed and a usually stressful situation was made easy and effortless.

If you ever sell/buy a property with John German in Loughborough, Charlie Lockhart is the lady to go to.
The sale of my daughters and son in law’s property was far from straight forward. The day of completion and exchange was very very stressful for all involved. Charlie stepped up to the mark and kept my daughter updated and informed throughout the progress. Thank you Charlie,

Superb experience selling our house in Loughborough through these recently; professional, friendly, prompt responses and super helpful every step of the way. We arranged for separate photos through a local independent photographer, recommended by them, but they did provide a superb 360 photo portfolio for our house listing. All viewings were followed up on and feedback provided to us and when we entered the best and final stage of our sale, this was all handled excellently and fairly. Competitively priced rate and dedicated staff to handle each stage of the process, we highly recommend them to sell through.
As sellers, we were very conscious to choose an agent that we knew would also offer the best customer experience. Having ourselves been looking and viewing many properties for a long time, we got a good idea of the 'good' and the 'bad' ones. Surprisingly, a lot of other agents in the area we found lacked basic customer service, for example either not getting back to enquiries to book viewings or taking too long to do so (time being a critical factor this past year with how the market has been). John German were always incredibly responsive and helpful, so naturally we wanted to go with them when we sold as we knew when we did find our buyer, we had the best chance of that buyer being actively communicated with!

Professional throughout and very supportive in organising a suitable viewing time. Kept up to date with things with regular emails and phone calls to ensure everything was progressing as both I and the landlord hoped. A great portal to use in PropertyFile, with all of the information required at the beginning and throughut the tenancy. With special thanks to Hannah, Becky and Laura for making it possible.

I have been renting from John German for 4 years always paid on time every month from my own personal bank account.
I took the tenancy out with my partner at the time and we split up 6 months ago and I had to file a domestic abuse charge against him, I have been looking for a new property since and have now found one.
Josie Walker of john Germán Loughborough made my partner aware I was leaving and I cannot be sure but may have even let him know my new address. Admittedly I had not made JG aware I had reports filed with the police for domestic abuse but upon hearing I was moving he started the abuse again and has since applied for the deposit which they promptly gave him having never had no contact with him or he paid a penny in the whole 4 years…… disappointed is an understatement
