After an unpleasant experience with a local agent 3 years ago, we chose hunters to sell our property which completed this week and would highly recommend. We also bought our next home with hunters also as the agent. From our first meeting with Chris who valued and marketed our property (excellent quality) to Joanne who was with us every step of the way from viewings to securing offers, to helping us find our onward purchase. It was brilliant being able to contact the same person throughout (not a different team post-offers) and they really respected our situation and opinions for both sale and purchase. Quick communication via phone and email and excellent work to bring solicitors together at the end (thanks Joanne!)

Hunters were the company I bought this house from originally, when it came to sell it I went to them as my first choice. They are professional, knowledgeable and made everything simple to understand. Because I was working away Hunters also supervised the viewing at my unoccupied house and I was favourably impressed as I am a private person and do not like anyone coming into the house when I am gone.

My only regret is that I didn't request Hunters to sell my own property. The service I received when purchasing a property with Hunters was really good. They were very thorough and communicated my queries with the seller, returning feedback efficiently. Joanne was especially helpful and went above and beyond her job to help me as a customer. Her warmly voice on the phone says it all. So caring.

Don't like to leave Google reviews but I'm going to make and exception to acknowledge the excellent service we have received from Hunters Estate Agents, Sunderland. I would have no hesitation in using them again and will be recommending them to family and friends - in fact I would not even consider using another agent in the Sunderland area. From valuation right through to completion Hunters demonstrated reassuring competence, deep knowledge and genuine care in managing the process and looking after their customer.
Hunters offered great advice throughout the whole process and also help assure us whenever we were concerned that the purchaser's progress was a little slower than we had hoped. They had great knowledge of the local market and marketed the property very quickly and professionally. We received multiple offers and they thoroughly investigated the financial status and readiness of the potential purchasers enabling us to choose a vendor with whom we’ve just completed without any issue.
I'd particularly like to praise Joanne, the Sunderland Branch Manager, who was our main contact throughout the process. Joanne, on multiple occasions made the sale process easier for us by proactively dealing with the Solicitor - without even needing to be asked!
If you are looking to sell a property in the Sunderland area I strongly recommend you consider using Hunters. Invite them along for a valuation and you will gain immediate confidence in their ability.

Terrible customer service not responsive at all takes 5 hours for a call back even then you don't get one.
Very cheeky when answering the phone quick go brush you off and they seem to not care at all.
Will never be using hunters again to purchase property terrible customer experience.
No I was not as as you have shown terrible customer service I mean look at that reply.

Joanne @ Hunters was invaluable in the sale of our home, she provided a 5* service and we would use Hunters again as a result of her work ethic and her ability to go above and beyond. Not only did Joanne deal with our sale, she was able to deal personally with the 2 other parties in the chain with a competitor agent; without a doubt this sale would have collapsed in the final stages without her knowledge and connections, pulling in favours to ensure we moved forward and were not held back. Nothing was a problem for Joanne, she took on the extra work load and stepped up on behalf of the other agent to see things were done, always taking our calls and updating the chain throughout. Thankyou!
