Michael was very helpful at the introduction. We chose A&W over three other local agents.
However, things went drastically wrong after that.
The photography (a 'professional' photographer in a tearing hurry) was very poor; lots of overexposure, and failed to actually capture the relevant features (eg stools chopped in half at breakfast bar, missed a feature wall, and had to be called back from the road for missing photos).
When the Particulars were sent the photos were unsatisfactory. A&W said they would correct this, but when particulars were resent - they sent the same photos even though we had discussed and approved other photos for use - including some that we took ourselves, to supplement the poor ones.
There appears to be little communication between the staff, and even less with the clients.
As a result we decided not to continue with this agent having lost faith: if they couldn't even get the particulars right, what sort of service would they be able to provide further down the line?
Would not recommend.

I have let my house via Austin & Wyatt in February and must say, the whole process from start to the tenant moving in was so well organised and coordinated. No hassle from my side. Asked for valuation which was speedily done. Was not prepared for what followed! Advised them I would be looking to put property on marked May 2024 - 6mths away and would contact them nearer the time. Ever since I have received 'hard sell' communications and pestering in multiple media forms. Communication between employees non existent. In exaberation I sent another email which this time expressed my frustration with their company. Will never use them!

Austin & Wyatt generally demonstrated that the entire team is very professional and experienced in what is currently a tricky market, but I have to give a particular shout out to Rebecca, who worked incredibly hard to ensure my purchase happened. I would not hesitate to recommend.

I recently tried to arrange a viewing of a property, I contacted them on Friday and they called me back on the Saturday as I was heading out the door so told Gem I would call her back in an hour when I was on the train. When I called nobody answered so I left a message amd nobody bothered to phone me back. On Tuesday I sent another request and got a call on Wednesday morning which I missed so called back at lunch time and left a message with a man and nobody returned my call. I called again Wednesday evening and left a message with someone for Gem to call me back and she never did. I just phoned AGAIN to organise a viewing only to be told they weren't taking anymore appointments for viewings. So annoying as if someone had bothered to come back to me in the first place this wouldn't have happened.
She asked if I would like to be put on a list in case anything else came up but I don't think I'll bother, I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for someone to phone.

This agency is really good. Through the renting process I had interactions with Mrs Gem, Mr Richard and Mrs Louise. They are very kind, polite, and answered and explaned every question I had. They work quickly to get all paperwork sorted, so you can move in flat/house soon.
