Having used Abbott’s Thorpe Bay for both the sale of my property and the purchase of a new home 6 months later I can honestly say they go above and beyond to provide the best customer service possible. I truly believe the team are genuinely concerned about their clients and endeavour to make the process as smooth as possible, providing advice and support from start to finish. After dealing with property agents for the last 35 years in buying/selling and renting in many parts of the UK. Hong Kong, Philippines and Thailand I can say this Thrope Bay office in my option is the worst I have ever dealt with. Totally unprofessional rude arrogant amateurs .The office manager thinks he is God and way up himself in his tiny little sleep backwater town with a staff of 5/6.The sales lady tries hard. but !!!!!( The guy in the letting department at their office in Rayleigh )follows the branch manager of this branch in his high option of who or what he actually is. These two people are a total disgrace to the company and for anyone looking to sell or rent out a property in Southend on Sea I would strongly recommend you do NOT use this company and go somewhere else. Rude, arrogant little people with big egos Rating ZERO. I will never use them again... Read more

Great customer experience received from Abbotts. We have tried to sell our property 3 times with different companis. Terry was honest and clearly done his home work when he came to value the property and valued it at the right level to enable us yo sell in 2 weeks. from the moment we went on the market to the day of completion the whole team were engaging and supportive. Paul provided twice a week catch ups between me and the buying to help resolve any issues we had. We asked several estate agents round to value my late mum's house. Paul Benge was brilliant. The valuation the highest price we were given , it was in the middle but it was realistic and in the end we got 10k more than the asking price. Another estate agent valued it 30k less The office girls were fab and we were kept in touch the whole way through. They service showing people around the house was excellent and we were always kept informed. Really happy with the service provided by Abbotts in Thorpe Bay. What should of been an easy sale of my flat, had every twist and turn you can imagine. My stress levels were tested and I don't know where I would of been without the help of Paul and Lucy. They really went the extra mile to keep the sale on track and prevent the buyer from pulling out. Lesson learnt from this sale, in future I would use the Solicitor firm recommended by Abbotts. Thankful that you guys kept in touch with me, helped chase things with the buyer and their solicitor. Thus enabling me in turn to chase my solicitor. There were other issues but the team were all over it, working on my behalf and helping the sale continue. You guys really went the extra mile for me and I whole heartedly recommend you.
