2nd time I used Richard Kendalls and they were excellent again. Mandy Bennett and the team in ossett took control leaving me to worry about nothing. We had issues further down the chain but mandy was on it chasing and keeping me informed regularly. Well worth the 5 stars!!!

I complete on purchasing our new house tomorrow and I couldn't be happier with all the support Melanie has provided. She has gone above and beyond to help me and my partner with purchasing our first house. She has been so helpful and proactive in ensuring the process was as smooth as possible and helped us every step of the way, I've never bought a house before and was completely new to the entire process and a little confused at times but Melanie was so supportive and helpful, and also kind and patient too. I would recommend Richard Kendall to anyone looking to buy or sell a home, their service has been amazing.

We received excellent service from the outset from Richard Kendall when we were selling my mother's bungalow. Their advice was clear and unequivocal in all respects and communication was easy to achieve, the same person providing helpful updates at every stage of the sale process. When the chain hit a problem shortly before exchange of contracts, the advice we were given by Mandy turned out to be exactly the right thing to do. Not being from the area, we had initially asked two national companies to give us their prices for the property but neither seemed as engaged or on the ball as the gentleman from Richard Kendall. I am sure that we made the right decision to go with the local market experts.

Especially Mandy from the Ossett branch. She was amazing from start to finish with our sale and it wasn’t the easiest! She has so much patience and constantly updated us with how it was proceeding. She really did go above and beyond for us.

Initial valuation meeting was good but with hindsight feel the property was undervalued. It went to best and final bids and we accepted an offer but then kept receiving bids after this (Richard kendall informed us they had to pass on the extra bids by law) Even though the property was sold STC on day 1, 6 months later the sign still states 'For Sale' even though someone came out to reposition it after being blow down. Mandy was always pleasant and helpful. Often when we had spoken to people in the office we were told someone would call back but we had to chase them. No major issues but didn't feel we got the service we paid for.

Five Star Service
Having lived in our house for over 50 years selling was a daunting prospect. From the start all the staff at the Ossett office were welcoming and very helpful.
Mandy, who handled our sale, guided us through every step and kept us fully informed throughout. She did far more than we could reasonably have expected, always willing to make the extra effort to help ease our way through the process.
If you are looking for a local estate agent then I highly recommend Richard Kendal and the ‘5 Star’ team in Ossett.
