Absolutely no responsibility as lettings agents! Asked them to replace the rotten (and dangerous) fencing with regards to my neighbour's' house (that they are supposed to be managing) approximately 6 months + ago and it still hasn't been done so have had to make a formal complaint with Crawley Borough Council. The fencing is rotten and jutting out in to our garden and is dangerous re our puppy and young son and has holes in. The Property Manager was extremely rude and unhelpful. Appauling behaviour!

Martin & Co are my favourite! My family and I were really struggling to find a new home were to stay. By the time we were calling other agencies, the properties were already fully booked for viewings or the lettings have been already agreed. As a person with a disability, it was really important to find a groundfloor flat with an allocated parking space and I am so happy that we found our new home which ticked all our boxes.
Daniel was always very helpful from the start and he actually recorded a video of the flat for me to see on our viewing day, because I didn't really figure out how to get into the property at that time due to my disability and only my husband could view it.
It all got sorted out in the end and we moved in just 17 days after we had our viewing!
I highly recommend Martin & Co, they are amazing and my family and I really appreciate all their help!

I've rented a property through Martin and Co for almost 2 years and have always found the team extremely helpful.
On our initial viewing of our property, Angela met us and was extremely friendly and helpful with information about the property and surrounding area.
I had some issues with referencing but Angela helped us through the entire process and secured the property.
During the pandemic last March we had a leak in our bathroom and the team were very quick to ensure the leak is fixed.
Recently we have had to make changes to our contract and Angela as well as David have been incredibly supportive to ensure I can stay in my home.
I would recommend Martin and Co for their outstanding customer service.

I rented a flat through them a while ago, and they found me one that allowed me to bring my two cats along. Excellent service throughout. Prompt and helpful whenever I needed them, friendly and approachable staff. They also helped me months after I moved to sort out some bills related problems with EDF. Really, this was a couple of years ago but google decided to randomly ask me to review them today and my experience with them was so good that I just felt compelled to oblige.

THEIVES!!
Wow... what a horrible bunch this lot are. They took over £350 deposit off us and then tried to turn round and say we made a mistake when filling out an application form. The mistake was from a 3rd party company but this heartless company said they can't issue a refund on a deposit because the application has been rejected, the irony is it was from a 3rd party they used to review credit score. It literally cost them nothing, but they were soon happy to withhold my money...
I'd avoid this company like the plague, and I've been advising MANY people I've worked with around the town to do so also. I despise people who are quick to take but never fair on giving back, especially when it wasn't their money and they knew it was from a family with a young baby and a mum expecting another, and around Christmas time!!! Anyone working for this company should be ashamed of themselves.

I had a hard time looking for places until I got the chance to speak with what I'd consider the best letting agent in the whole West Sussex area. If you ever need to find a place that fit your needs and budget, call Martin & Co and ask for Daniel. You'll se what good service really means. Tell them you saw my review. ;) Thanks Dan.
