I know estate agents sometimes have a poor reputation but Howard Cundey have sunk to new lows - they lied to us about our revised offer being accepted, allowed us to progress with surveys and solicitors and incur fees, and we found out from others that in fact another couple had their offer accepted and the property was sold to them....and to top it all off the CEO then called me to defend their behaviour when I complained - they shouldn't be able to get away with behaving like this...and yet they do.....if this is the message coming from the top down, then they simply cannot be trusted.... Helpful agents, will answer any questions you have. I had an experience with a laid back agents which made it easier for us. The only thing that could be good is to have a list of important things as we are given the keys to the rental property (where all the meters are including water, where are the bins, what switches do what etc)... Read more
