Miss information, lies about the rental contract, an incompetent team.
Had to deal with them once, and never again.
Avoid this agency with all cost.
1 star is way more than they`re actually worth.

Spoke with a lady called Nikisha, very rude, had to hang up as she will not listen, and keeps talking over you. She is the representative of the company and you can see why it has low ratings because the people are unprofessional and rude. They promised to replace broken things in the house and was never done. And then Nikisha tries to lie saying thee didn’t change number when they did after court cases.
I would not recommend meridian as an estate agent, they will not listen to you and will only care if they receive their rent. Very disappointing.

I contacted them three times, once via email from zoopla or another similar site, once by phone as they didn’t respond to the email, and finally by a personal visit to their office as they didn’t get back as promised by phone. And now they’ve failed to call back even after the office visit. Basically they did seem an inefficient shower but to be fair I did get an apology on the latest visit so I will up star from one to two.

Ultimately, a very stressful and combative experience which ended up being a complete waste of time.
Despite a multitude of opportunities for them to verify the utilities situation on a flat I was interested in renting, they gave me the impression that the agreed upon rent was to include all bills except council tax. This remained so right up until the meeting in which I was supposed to receive the keys to the property, at which point I was informed that the electricity was on a meter and therefore unable to be included in the rent. This information was provided to me after I had made payment to their account, which included not only the deposit but 6 months' rent upfront.
This situation occurred after a myriad of issues with the tenancy agreement, which included Meridian making multiple attempts to get me to sign a contract which had no indication of bills being included, Meridian inserting a clause holding me liable to pay early termination fees if the lease was broken at any point during the 24 month lease despite it being verbally agreed that a 6 month break clause would be in the tenancy agreement and the property not being painted in clear contradiction to the tenancy agreement stating that the property was to be re-painted by a contractor before my move in date.
I count myself lucky that I was able to withdraw my application before entering into a tenancy arrangement with this organisation. I would implore anyone renting to seek alternative options as they are misleading and incompetent, arguably drifting into the territory of downright dishonesty. They are currently in court being accused of dishonest and aggressive business practices, and for an estate agent to end up in a litigation matter under these charges is no small feat.

They wanted to charge me twice for the agency fees and double at the second time. Only got it resolved with help of my mortgage advisor. Very disappointing.

Meridian Estate Agents provided me with a fantastic service whilst going through the lettings process. The entire journey was effortless and Emma or Katie in Lettings were always at the end of the phone to guide me through any queries i had. Would recommend to anybody looking to rent in the area 100%. Thank you guys!

Great Property Maintenance Team! We've been renting through Meridian for nearly 7 years now! Always found them very helpful. More recently we had some issues with our property's garden fencing Katie was amazing, very friendly and professional. We were kept up to date on all communications and the issue was sorted within the week! Thank you Katie ?

An amazing experience from start to finish.
We instructed them by email at 7:30am on a Tuesday and had a viewing booked in by 11:30am for the same day. Sold in a couple of weeks and kept informed all the way. Thanks Leah, Danie & Tracey. Top notch team.
