We aim to move from Yorkshire to Weymouth, a first move in 35 years. We contacted several Agents and researched Rightmove and others with details of our needs and wants. We were ignored by some Agents, offered over-priced by others, advised toward dubious decisions by at leased two others. Our first meeting with your Joe Adams is lost in the fog of roofs and walls. Nevertheless we were impressed by his direct knowledge of the products he was vending, and his acceptance of problems as we saw them (infirmities' of old age). We talked a lot about Overcombe Drive, but the many staircases were a literal stumbling block for my wife. A wonderful house, beautifully presented by Joe and affordable, but no. Joe courted us in a businesslike manner with a slice of friendship. This was not a local house move, so not only did we think the service provided to us by Paul (Goadsby) was second to none, nothing seemed too much trouble. It also transpired on the day of completion that this gentleman we had got to know concerning this transaction would be needed again for which we were extremely grateful. The weather could not have been any worse, and whilst we had got caught in a snow blizzard en-route, the removal van had arrived outside the property, so Paul was able to let them in to unload our items, but luckily for us that was not before his problems of getting to work that day too! Thank you Paul (Goadsby), and for the 'Welcome' gift of the bottle of bubbly - a nice touch following the few hiccups which were unrelated to Goadsby!... Read more
