We rented a property for 18 months via Lancastrian Estates while selling a property in France to buy a house and install new kitchen and flooring before moving in.
We always felt like criminals with 12 weekly inspections forced upon us with no choice of day or time that meant we had to take time off work to be there. OR ''We we can just let ourselves in'' whenever they liked. On inspection one of the staff even pulled back the shower curtain to check there was nothing hidden behind. A maintenance painter and decorator was given access without any appointment of warning which forced us to contact the owner direct and change the locks in order to keep our temporary home and Indoor Persian Cat Safe.
The rental income we paid for this flat should have made us Customers BUT NO we were treated like criminals. Even our moving out earlier to fit with a new Tennant meant we overpaid by a good week But they were so difficult and arrogant to deal with we were just glad to get away to our for ever home

After viewing a property on Friday evening my husband and I went to the Kendal branch the next morning to apply. We arrived at 8:50am as we were keen on the property and wanted to be the first in. We waited until 9:20, but no one showed to open up.
After several attempts at calling other branches we got through to someone, who ensured us the branch should be open. They told us a form would be emailed to us, no such thing happened.
After speaking to someone this morning, I was told they believe the house had gone. But they'd call me back within 10 minutes to confirm. After 40 minutes I got fed up of waiting and called them. The house had gone.
Lancastrian Estates, you should be ashamed of your service. And you should probably take the property offline, to save anyone else disappointment.
