From the initial contact with Adam and ongoing visits and viewings accompanied by Kerys and Ali , we have been impressed with the level of service received by all the team, who have been very professional, friendly and courteous.
We were very impressed that we have been informed and updated throughout and kept abreast of developments. And the feedback received about the viewers thoughts on our property. We would have no hesitation in recommending Urban and Rural, something that we have already done to neighbours.

Following the initial valuation our house was on the market within hours. Good quality photos. Made a few suggestions regarding an aerial shot and additional exterior shots of house and these were addressed quickly and efficiently.

I found Urban and Rural's approach to be attentive and professional. As clients they kept us well informed every step of the way. In terms of the "business end" and the final negotiation, I do feel this could have been a little sharper and more acute to extract maximum value.

Urban and Rural helped us a great deal in the face of difficult circumstances (a tenant who refused to allow photography or viewings and who then took items of furniture which had been offered as part of the sale). They were very patient and did their best to work around the problems. Once the sale was agreed, they kept us well informed and chased up the buyer's solicitors. There was a complication to do with an ILA requirement at the end but they kept chasing and kept us informed (although they was a small patch where we struggled to get updates). They were always polite and helpful.

This agent was a very poor choice for us!! They initially over valued us and made us sign a 21 week sole agency agreement which we thought we were obliged to sign, we most likely didn't need too!! Ten days after this and being on the market they decided to say that we needed to drop the price to make us more attractive!! We found initially staff at the MK office "sloppy" and poor to communicate, this was rectified after a complaint to be fair. In the initial stages of being on the market we received a couple of calls from a "salesman" like character who just went on and on about sales trends, Rightmove stats and everything you didn't want to hear except what he was doing to market and sell our house!! It eventually transpired that this was the owner of the business!! Almost 2 months into the "21 week agreement" and not being sold I spoke to the owner to request a reduction in term of this agreement as I felt he was not working for us and I had no confidence in him selling our house whatsoever! After a lecture about agreements and what they meant in law he begrudgingly agreed to allow us to go five weeks earlier! We finally left, for us, this poorly performing agency last Friday after having received a meagre and poor 11 viewings after nearly sixteen weeks with them and lowering our asking price three times!! Not at any point after my last conversation with the owner were we contacted to discuss a new sales strategy or talk about why we were not selling and our options moving forward!! I emailed the owner, several days before our agreed date to separate to confirm we would be leaving him and never even received a reply to acknowledge this, extremely rude but was expected I'm afraid. To sum up if this was the only estate agent in Milton Keynes I still would not use or consider using them again!!

All staff at Urban and Rural I had contact with were professional and friendly.
I was kept up to date from the valuation through to the sale and am very happy with the service I received.

Great service from day one. If we ever decide to move again in the future, we would be going back to Urban and Rural.

Steven at Urban and Rural has been first class. He made getting my property on the market quick and easy and had a full asking price sale in a week. Since then he has called me with weekly updates on progress and is quick to respond if you have any questions. Steven has given me far more information on progress of my sale than my own solicitor.
I would highly recommend them.
