I was moving from Doncaster back to Selby and had put an offer in on a place. James was the agent for the seller and i was delighted with the amount of information i received ( from James ) through the whole process. My agent in Doncaster kept me somewhat in the dark but thankfully James fed me the info i needed to remain confident that it would all work out. Selling a house can be a really stressful experience but with James and Lisa looking after you nothing was too much trouble. On first meeting James we had a frank discussion about pricing and I trusted him from day one. I had weekly updates and didn’t have to chase for any information on viewings etc. Once sold James and Lisa liased with solicitors and the buyers. We were kept up to date every step of the way. I cannot recommend James and Lisa enough. A real professional team

I would highly recommend Hunters in Selby. James and Lisa are fantastic. They are really friendly and great at what they do. They are both very approachable and knowledgeable about the area and nothing is too much trouble. I would highly recommend anyone to sell or purchase through them.

James single handedly restored our faith in estate agents! After a dreadful experience with another agency, we were delighted with how patient, approachable, and communicative James was. He sold the house within a few weeks of it being on the market, at a price ourselves and our buyers were very happy with, and never missed a beat with communication. We have been kicking ourselves for not choosing Hunters first!

From the outset, we have had amazing service from James and his team at Hunters. They have been polite and professional in valuing our house, showing prospective buyers around and negotiating a sale on our behalf. James and Lisa have provided excellent support in liaising between solicitors, ourselves and our buyers. Nothing has been too much trouble when problem solving and facilitating our sale and we have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

We've bought a house which was advertised by Hunters and the service received from the start to completion was excellent.
The initial house viewing was excellent and the agent had comprehensive knowledge of the property and indeed the seller so was able to answer all our questions. It was easy to arrange a viewing and we felt welcomed and were able to take our time.
Throughout the buying process we received calls on a regular basis to check in and keep us informed of the progress being made by all parties. The agent always called back promptly and any queries we had were always answered.
I'd happily buy another property through Hunters in the future.

From the first meeting the team at Hunters Selby, I knew this was the estate agent to sell my home. Through out the whole transaction, James Powell was fantastic and ensured all parties were kept informed and everyone knew what was happening to ensure a smooth transaction. Being honest, this was the first time I had used a ‘high street’ estate agent (I have always used online estate agents for previous property sales), however I can now see the advantage of using a ‘bricks and mortar’ estate agent, especially with that personal communication and knowing what is going on at any point in time! James’ approach and exceptional service has meant I’m converted and wouldn’t hesitate to use Hunters again in the future.
