Absolutely shocking and advise potential tenants to AVOID like the plague. Have video evidence of being verbally threatened and abused by Mr Frank Allen, and the landlord in question. They both ganged up on me, came to the property,forced entry and proceeded to intimidate me to the point I nearly called the police on them. This was all forwarded to higher management and given as evidence to the DPS, neither of which did anything. Then had the cheek to charge me thousands.Not even a single apology! Luckily I still have the footage so will be perusing matters once again.... Read more

I requested a viewing on a property as a cash buyer and agreed a time and date…..I arrived at the property and the agent never checked my name or even had the courtesy to say good morning or introduce himself…..showed absolute zero interest in showing me around just opening doors and not showing any enthusiasm to sell the property….. I switched off….lost confidence and left after short time….customer service was terrible and regardless of amount of money the property is worth you treat people with respect and care….I will not be using this company for any other properties... Terrible. Avoid! Very unprofessional staff who clearly can't be bothered, who answer the phone by just saying hello... with the exception of Hannah. We waiting over a month to get our deposit back after we moved out and whenever we had issues at the property we rented, they would send the worst handyman/woman they could find, who bodged the job everytime. We had slugs everywhere in the kitchen when we first moved in and damp crawling up the walls, we moved out for our health. Yet they still wanted to increase the rent, absolute joke. The property was not managed very well. After we moved out, we had to post our keys through the letterbox as no-one was in at the office... at 10am. Then they lost the keys! As with many of these reviews, Surelet are dreadful. Let 2 properties from them over the past 7 years, and both times have been gutless, spineless and concerned only with making money and keeping the landlord sweet. Countless issues took 4-6 MONTHS to fix, and upon exiting got billed for £600 on the last possible day they could. Got over £400 of my £650 deposit back thanks to the Dps, but took a long time. Avoid like the plague, the likes of Hannah, Paul, Luke etc. Thankfully I now own a house, but if you are looking for a place, go anywhere but here. They'll take your money and hang you out to dry when you come to actually need them, or dare leave. Their landlords are, in my experience, sheisters out to make as much as possible with as little investment.... Read more

Absolutely appauling service for tenants. Very poor landlords you will be left for months for things to get fixed. Took our old landlord 6 months to fix the waste water that was filling up our kitchen from the landlords upstairs property. You will receive very little communication from Surelet. Twice I've rented a property through Surelet and twice I've been left upset and out of pocket. I'm shocked as to how they still have business.... Read more

WOULD RATE 0 STARS IF IT WAS POSSIBLE!!!! I rented a property through surelet initially which was then managed and not maintained by the landlord! Surelet only did the check in and check out reports when I rented this property!! They had nothing to do with anything else in regards to managing the property whilst I occupied this said property... only to suddenly pop up and defend the crook of a landlord when a dispute was made over the deposit by myself! They did all this landlords dirty work!!! And even involved there Director - Paul Saunders! The dispute was raised due to poor living conditions mold ect... which the landlord completey denied and these cow boys backed up!! The point I am trying to make is surelet are liars! And only have there commission and landlords best interests at heart! Do not rent a property through these lot!! They don't care about tenants! And aslong as a landlord is paying them you haven't got a chance!!! AVOID THIS ESTATE AGENTS!!!... Read more

If I can go into minus stars I would. The WORST company ever! So much hassle, after that day I went with them it was nothing other than trouble!!! All they care into doing is taking money, they don’t care about you. Rented a property that turned out to be for sale, so I was forced to move out ASAP, as someone bought it. Surelet showed 0 support, instead they just kept on topping up my bills. After I moved they checked the property and for things that was in the house originally such as cracked tiles, they said it was me??? They say how they will charge me for professional cleaning yet when I moved in to that property the hall way was covered in mud, the floor was sooo Black that it took me all day with constant rubbing to clean it off. The property was in a very poorly state, and only now they want to go wild on my deposit to fix tiles, wash the house top to bottom, etc etc. I would recommend you to go anywhere else other than surelet as I can guarantee you that all they would do is steal your money and cause you so much stress that all you’ll be doing is pulling all your hair off.... As stated in a previous review, seem ok to work with until anything goes wrong and they are more concerned about the Landlords. Read the small print on signing a contract as there are lots of hidden fees (one's i've never paid out in other agencies). Would not use again!... Read more

Be careful with these people. Their actual clients are the landlords not the tenants. They are nice until you stop working with them and they try to please the landlord retaining as much deposit as possible.... Read more

Where do I start. First of all, the woman who was in charge of all our property queries at surelet came across as rude whenever we needed help. Almost every appliance in our house had an issue at some stage and each issue took much longer than expected to resolve, and yes, the landlord is partly to blame for this but the communication with the landlord and the letting agent was atrocious as well. A few chairs in our house were already broken and surelet were intent on charging a tenant for the damage, so no communal itinerary check ever took place. We had cleaners for our house as well and they are meant to clean the communal areas only, but one day without any of our permission, they cleaned the oven and surelet charged the house £70 for this! These were just a few of many issues I encountered with surelet and I don't recommend anyone to invest with them in the future because I certainly will not!... Read more
