We dealt with the Chelsea office and both Hugh and Percy could not have done more to ensure we secured the flat we desperately wanted. They are tenacious with a level of professionalism and charm that should make Dexters first choice for buyers and sellers. Simply the best! Nothing is too much trouble. Dexters Chelsea is an absolute gem of a real estate office. We dealt with them for the sale of an apartment and Percy and his team were just so professional yet friendly, dedicated, incredibly hardworking and put in a huge deal of effort to make sure we sold for the best price and at the best conditions. We were always up to date and Percy was handling most of the matters for us with impeccable manners, professionalism and punctuality. Great overall experience.
Very professional yet friendly and personal. Reliable, prompt and attentive throughout what was an unusually protracted process due to the special circumstances of the sale which required them to work flexibly as a result of which we have no doubt it encroached on their personal time. The process was extremely smooth. We had a great, albeit (luckily!) short, experience. Percy Bodington has helped us secure the flat in less than one week. Excellent communication and thorough knowledge of the area. Would recommend.

I just completed on purchasing a gorgeous flat here in Chelsea that Hugh Daunt found for me, and I couldn't be happier. He managed the transaction efficiently and easily, and knocked himself out to make sure that I got my place. I was lucky to find Hugh, but I hope that you'll learn from my success and give him a call. He's sensible and really knows his inventory and the neighbourhoods.

I recently moved out of a property managed by Dexters Chelsea & Belgravia and this has been one of the worst renting experiences of my life.
During my tenancy, it took 3 MONTHS for someone to come to fix a non-working cold water tap. I'll let you imagine what it's like to live without cold water (health and safety??). Furthermore, it took a year for someone to replace a MOULDY sealant...
On top of everything else, I am facing a deposit return issue. It has now been 20 days, and I have just been told that they will keep 150GBP of my initial deposit... for what seems to me like normal wear and tear. I also, have yet to receive a report on the so called 'dilapidations'.
Finally, moving into the property was not an enjoyable experience, as the previous tenant had left soiled bedsheets, clothes, pillows which were stated in the inventory as having HAIR on them... and lots of rusty cutlery. It seems that the landlord is complaining about me getting rid of these unhygienic items... What are your thoughts? Should I have kept stained bedsheets and dirty pillows?
I have also been trying to get in touch with them to get a report on why they are charging me 150GBP, with no reply of course...
This has been a very tedious experience for me, I would have hoped that they would show some sort of empathy, understanding or even just acknowledgment of my situation.
I don't recommend renting from or through Dexters Chelsea & Belgravia.
