Lee at Bensons and Partners were very helpful in the South Norwood Branch. I had to hand back keys to a workshop and they provided me with a written receipt to acknowledge the hand back of keys as proof .

We have been renting an apartment through these agencies for four years. We've never had any problems, any fault is quickly fixed. Vipin and other Benson & Partners agency employees are always professional. Appointments and inspections of apartments are arranged with us and according to our availability. Highly recommend and thank you.

Phenomenal service by Lee at SoNow branch. He went above and beyond to smooth out an arduous transaction (no fault of Benson & Partners). Very communicative and supportive throughout. The branch team were very friendly, knowledgeable and personable. I would highly recommend.

Lee, Karl and team were excellent providing helpful and honest service not pushing us to sell at a lower price just to ensure a quick sale for them but ensuring we secured the best price for our home and keeping us updated and well informed throughout. They also did a great video of the property which was helpful particularly with all of the restrictions in place during the sale.

I have been unfortunate to have had to deal with this agency twice and both times they were absolutely appalling. The first time I attempted to buy a property through them, they constantly pressured me to move quicker and kept threatening that the vendor would pull out of the sale if I didn't just exchange. It felt like there was something going on so I tracked down the freeholder who informed me there was huge structural issue with the building which they were trying to rectify and the vendor knew about this. I then found out the vendor was a relation to one of the employees at Bensons so he also now, hence they were pushing so hard to offload the property.. I felt disgusted with them and pulled out of the sale.
I then went on to buy another property and unfortunately they managed the flat above me. There was a leak coming from the bathroom of the upstairs flat, I contacted Bensons who sent their 'plumber' who apparently couldn't find a leak. The leak continued and the stain on my ceiling was getting worse so they sent their 'plumber' again who again couldn't find anything so I stopped him when he left and he told me he wasn't even a plumber, he was an electrician. I questioned this with Bensons and they replied saying that he is an electrician by trade but does do some plumbing on the side! They then went on to keep telling me that the mould now growing on my ceiling and massive stain was condensation. I had lived there for 4 years and knew 100% what condensation was. They were so patronising, they wouldn't allow my plumber to take a look and this went on for 8 months when they eventually, very rudely told me to stop contacting them and that they would no longer respond to my messages. My ceiling then began to sag so I had to create a hole to release water before the ceiling collapsed. I then filmed the water physically pouring through my ceiling and sent it to them. Rather than apologising for the stress they had put me through and admitting they were wrong, they terminated the contract with the landlord and dropped the property from their books leaving the landlord to deal with the mess, he is now looking to sue them for neglecting his property.
As long as they are getting their money, they do not care about property, tenants or landlords. I really have never dealt with such a dodgy and rude agent before and wouldn't even give them 1 star if I didn't have to!
