This is the first ever time I have felt the need to write a review about an estate agent that we have use. The whole team have been exceptional and have restored my faith in the profession. The proactively chase, are always up-to-date, highly professional and actually return calls when they say they will. I simply could not find (even the smallest) things to fault them on. This is what we all expect Estate agency to be. Highly recommended.

The team at Abbotts really looked after me with the sale of my house, I was kept up to date with all viewings, marketing as well as a weekly catch up. I had 7 people view my property in very quick succession and was sold within just a few weeks. Steve the branch manager, John the rental negotiator and Amie the sales negotiator supported me fully.

Chelsie the mortgage broker has also been very helpful with the re-mortgage of one of my other properties.

Overall I would class them as the BA, Murdock, Face & Hannibal of the estate agent world - aka The A-Team :)

I had sold my property with Abbotts and bought another property with them. Now I am going to rent my house through Abbotts and I contacted Scott Walker , it was an excellent service that we received, very approachable , always keep us updated with what’s going on etc. Fantastic customer care. I am going to recommend my friend and I will recommend anybody. Chelsie and Steve were also very, very helpful.Good have that peace of mind....

We recently moved and used the services of Chelsie Lambert in the mortgage department to arrange our new mortgage. I cannot recommend Chelsie highly enough! We went for an initial visit and she went through and explained absolutely all our options to us. Chelsie is friendly, professional and kept us up to date all the way through. We are also currently sorting out our life insurance with her and again we can’t fault the service we have received. I will definitely be passing her number on to all our friends and family if they need help in the future.

Can not fault the service received. Scott was fantastic in the lettings team and all the staff in the office were really friendly. I would not hesitate to recommend Abbotts as they all really care about you as a person not just a number. They out a huge amount of time and effort into making sure there customers come first.

We were looking for a home to rent, we found our perfect house and from viewing to moving in was all done in just over a week. Scott was professional, understanding and helpful with any questions.

We had a terrible experience with Abbotts as tenants. If you are looking to rent then I urge you to look elsewhere! The property we were renting from them in Barnby (Beccles) went up for sale whilst we were renting and they told us we had 2 months to vacate which was fine. Except that wasn't the case when it came to the final days of that two month period - Our home was packed up, our daughter had changed primary school and we then had to give a months notice in writing before being able to finally move on! They told us we have two months to vacate over the phone and we were not aware at the time that this should have been given in writing until we did further research. I believe, in retrospect that this was a tactic used to take as much money from us as possible and for no good reason. We were great tenants who always paid the rent on time and kept the dated property clean and tidy, inside and out. It was our home and we were very happy there. To add insult to injury they attempted to keep our entire deposit (£1500) for decorative purposes (even though the property was up for sale and not in great shape when our tenancy began, we actually improved the property immensely) and they wouldn't allow us the contact telephone number/email/address of our landlord! We had to get legal advice from Shelter and they made a stressful time for me and my family, so much worse! The inventory from the beginning of our tenancy was never given to us and had conveniently gone astray when we asked for a copy. Luckily we found the landlords address in our tenancy agreement documents and we wrote a letter to him directly (without any cooperation from Connor, our point of contact at Abbotts). The landlord was, thankfully, a really nice chap and was completely unaware of their dealings with the deposit!!! We got our deposit back after communicating with the landlord directly. Leads me to believe they were trying to keep the money for themselves personally...they are a disgrace and I would seriously look elsewhere if you are considering renting, buying or selling with Abbott's.

What a friendly bunch of staff, they were lovely to me on the phone and extremely helpful. I spoke to 2 of the colleagues, Lindsay and David and they were both the same, very cheerful and bubbly! Even though I had phoned the wrong office, I was treated with respect and they both managed to help me find what I was looking for and directed me to the right place! I have no hesitation to highly recommend them and when I come to sell my home, I will no doubt use this team. Thank you... from one lost old man.

I would highly recommend Abbots. Chris and Luke have been fantastic, right from the initial valuation and production of details through to exchange of contacts. They took care of all viewings and we also arranged the energy survey and solicitor through them which saved a lot of trouble sourcing these separately and meant that everything was coordinated. The viewings were well targeted and we received feedback after each one, just as promised. Ours wasn’t always a straightforward sale, but Chris was always available to chase things up and assist with dealing with queries as they arose. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to sell a property in the Hadleigh area.
