I recently sold my house through Acorn and Carys McFarland dealt with my sale from start to finish. I have to say, the service she gave was amazing. From arranging the viewings, to keeping me informed though the sales process and updating me on any changes, she was always so thorough and prompt. Renting a place in this market can be so complicated, but they kept us updated whenever we had concerns and always made sure we are on the track.
I want to send a big thank you for everything you’ve done for us, especially to Haydn! His help for the past few months was not an easy lift, and we couldn’t have done it without him and his group. The service I received from Acorn was excellent. Despite a lengthy sale process, involving multiple fall-throughs stemming from the difficulties posed by the cladding crisis, the team remained resolute in the face of a very challenging environment. I would like to extend my thanks to Joe Buckle, Layton Thomas and Jake Blackman in particular for their persistence in the course of my sale. I’m not sure many other agents would have stuck with my sale to the extent that the folks at Acorn did, while achieving my guide price in a depressed market.
Some quick positives: friendliness and professionalism, photography, approach to and speediness of listing, responsiveness over email, collection and dissemination of viewer feedback and positions.

Edit - 14/8/23 - Had a particularly difficult sale due to cladding/ews1 issues but Jake and Layton at Acorn went over and above to ensure I got a sale that completed. Both kept me up to date, kept chasing the buyer's solicitor and got my transaction completed. I couldn't have asked for more from them.

My introduction to Joe Buckle and Holly Field when our property was put on the market was a very positive experience. phone was always answered, emails replied to promptly and we were kept in the loop at all times. Amir Khajedehi was also very efficient helpful.

Jacqueline has been wonderful throughout the process. We did see a few properties with her and she managed to find us our first home. She is extremely professional and organised . Her response time is great . She would always get back to me immediately and attend to our queries and concerns. She moved the purchase really quickly for us and went out of her way to chase solicitors and brokers when required. She is great at the job and I wish her much success.

It was by far the worst experience I ever had with an estate agent since I moved to London.
They wasted my time advertising wrong details on their website and landlord said some things are not available as advertised.
They asked for a deposit BEFORE the offer was placed for the house and I was stuck with my money for 2 weeks until we finally managed to meet with the landlord and eventually he rejected my offer because she said no appliances like fridge or oven will be replaced if they break down, the shed in the back garden belongs to her and will be locked at all time and many other stuff which I think is mind blowing, if you rent the propert for 2000 pounds a month then everything should be available for the tenant, not just parts of the house. All these details were falsely advertised on acorn website to attract potential renters and we ended up wasting our time to eventually find out all these details when we meet with landlord.
Most of the time they ignored my calls and tried to pass the responsability to other agents saying they are not available or out the office, communication was really slow and the whole experience was unpleasant by any means.
Please makre sure you do not get tricked into paying a holding deposit before you place an offer because is unethical and a waste of time.
Overall, I would stay away from them and try to look for better estate agents.

My partner and I recently purchased our first home through Acorn, and I cannot fault the service at all.
We'd been looking locally for a property for a few months, and hadn't found the 'right' house. From our first interaction of booking the viewing Jacqueline Bissett was amazing. She was happy to accommodate an evening viewing and was so relaxed when showing us the property, unlike some other estate agents we've experienced locally. It also helped that she knew the area well, and could honestly speak about the neighbourhood.
Jacqueline stayed present throughout the entire process and kept us in the loop of everything going on, and was very easy to arrange house surveys with, and get answers to our solicitors questions promptly.
Also, we would never have imagined that from putting an offer in on the house to getting the keys would have happened in as little of 8 weeks!
