Currently going through procedures with the Landlords Association and The Property Ombudsman. This company is a disgrace and according to the director 'it's a plus for (myself and my partner) that the LL isn't co-operating with us as we will get our money back.'

They have no sense of procedure in terms of the return of deposit, as it took over a month and for myself to ring them to try and get our money back!

Their excuse was 'as we would like to refund all deposits as soon as the tenancy has finished, we are not allowed to do it without Landlord’s written approval. It is very unfortunate that at the end of your tenancy, the Landlord was away and we could not get hold of them. We have exchanged several phone calls and emails in order to keep you updated on the situation.'
-We called them over 9 times each and sent many emails to various departments
- If the deposit was thought of after we left as is normal lettings procedure, they could've contacted the LL at this point, but, alas, the landlord had gone on holiday the month after they should've discussed releasing the deposit leading to all of these various problems.

Also to state : 'As per the tenancy agreement (clauses 1.7.5 and 4.1.6) we could have charged you penalty fees relating to the overdue rent payments and issuing letters following the breach of contract. We did not do it though. This goodwill gesture on our side has saved you a reasonable amount of money.' -next time, don't bother. As we didn't ask nor require this, but you would've thought you'd give a heavily pregnant woman of whom's pay went towards her twice weekly hospital appointments a day or two leeway.

As far as the 'Managing director' is concerned; He, nor his employees can do no wrong. I urge any prospective tenant or even landlord to look at their 2.9 rating on google and at the so-called 'managing directors' narcissistic tone of reply and the complaints others have also had with their dealings with airport lettings.

I am currently still talking to solicitors and over various legal teams around other duties in my life to get some resolve to problems that have arisen as a consequence to your actions.

Just found a professional house share in the Stansted area through Airport Lettings. They have such a great selection of properties and when I spoke to the team at the airport. I really felt they listened to my individual needs regarding relocating and job role. I would recommend Airport Lettings to anyone looking to rent propeties whether you are from an aviation background or not.

Thanks to the Airport Lettings team, look forward to hopefully using your services when I’m ready to buy a house in the next couple of years.
