AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID ... TENANTS AND LANDLORDS ALIKE ... avoid this company at all costs! I know from talking to the landlady (who is lovely but very innocent) that they charged her £400 for gardening services before I moved in but when I moved into the property it was clear that no gardening had taken place, I didn’t have the heart to tell the landlady when we spoke but they are now trying to charge me for gardening services after I have vacated the property. A similar story regarding cleaning and waste disposal. Cleaning: The house was filthy and dusty when I moved in and no they are trying to charge me cleaning fees even though I left the house far cleaner than I received it. Waste: When I moved into the property, the bins were left full of rubbish, not sorted appropriately and now they are trying to charge me for waste disposal. I will be discussing with the landlady and can only imagine they will have made up some more fictional charges for her as well. Moral of the story, Landlord/ladies - find an honourable agency. (They will rip you off too) Tenants - don’t go near, they will take you for everything they can.... Read more

Terrible service, awful communication. Missed out on renting a dream flat because this company didnt chase up the landlord and didnt update or tell us any information. Was told repeatedly that they will get back to us but they never did, we always had to ring up and go through 2 or 3 people to find out any information. Avoid at all costs. Luckily we didnt get as far as to begin dealing with money. Stay well away!... Read more

I viewed a property 3 weeks ago and have got in touch with Airport Lettings 10 minutes after I left that I want to proceed and pay the deposit as soon as possible. Have been told to wait until they get in touch with the landlord ever since, I chased multiple times and never got any reasonable reply. They kept telling me that they can’t get hold of the landlord. Today I found out that the property is probably gone, as it was advertised with 2 other agencies as well. Someone who pays 3 different agencies to rent his property would probably not ignore any messages or phone calls when someone wants to rent and is ready to pay asap! Absolutely disappointed and will never use this agency again. AVOID!!!... Read more

Poor service from the get go, I done all the work for them, found the place and even arranged things with the Landlady only to find out that behind the scenes somebody had been telling the Landlady that they could not get hold of me when I in fact told them I was happy to proceed. When I confronted them about lying they shrugged it off. We finally agreed a let, I sent them over the deposit and all the information required for the checks on 19/09/2019 and nobody has been in contact since. I have even chased a couple of times! Whether news is good or bad, communication is one of the core factors and to be ignored when in fact customers are the reason the business runs is completely unacceptable. Whether a landlord or somebody look to rent a place, I'd advise you to use another company. A company that earns the right to take a percentage of your money etc... Read more

Currently going through procedures with the Landlords Association and The Property Ombudsman. This company is a disgrace and according to the director 'it's a plus for (myself and my partner) that the LL isn't co-operating with us as we will get our money back.' They have no sense of procedure in terms of the return of deposit, as it took over a month and for myself to ring them to try and get our money back! Their excuse was 'as we would like to refund all deposits as soon as the tenancy has finished, we are not allowed to do it without Landlord’s written approval. It is very unfortunate that at the end of your tenancy, the Landlord was away and we could not get hold of them. We have exchanged several phone calls and emails in order to keep you updated on the situation.' -We called them over 9 times each and sent many emails to various departments - If the deposit was thought of after we left as is normal lettings procedure, they could've contacted the LL at this point, but, alas, the landlord had gone on holiday the month after they should've discussed releasing the deposit leading to all of these various problems. Also to state : 'As per the tenancy agreement (clauses 1.7.5 and 4.1.6) we could have charged you penalty fees relating to the overdue rent payments and issuing letters following the breach of contract. We did not do it though. This goodwill gesture on our side has saved you a reasonable amount of money.' -next time, don't bother. As we didn't ask nor require this, but you would've thought you'd give a heavily pregnant woman of whom's pay went towards her twice weekly hospital appointments a day or two leeway. As far as the 'Managing director' is concerned; He, nor his employees can do no wrong. I urge any prospective tenant or even landlord to look at their 2.9 rating on google and at the so-called 'managing directors' narcissistic tone of reply and the complaints others have also had with their dealings with airport lettings. I am currently still talking to solicitors and over various legal teams around other duties in my life to get some resolve to problems that have arisen as a consequence to your actions.... Read more
