Chancellors - Virginia Water

11 Station Parade

Richard provided a great service, kept us informed throughout, he was very professional, and offered good sound advice when we were going through a tricky stage with a potential buyer. We would be happy to use them again, and can highly recommend Chancellors and Richard. Graham, Maria and Jenny who we also dealt with were great too.

Mark's Shots

Chancellors in Virginia Water are perhaps the rudest men I have had the displeasure to meet. They quote "I am acting in the best interest of my client" by advising them to pull out of the sale in the same week that exchange was due. They also unnecessarily inflate the prices and give sellers false hope of a high sale. As a customer (buyer), this has definately been one of the most horrible experiences of my life. I have lost 1000s of pounds in legal fees, mortgage fees and more. I would advise anyone looking to purchase a property to look elsewhere.

I don’t make a habit of writing reviews however we recently used the lettings service at Buckinghams Virginia Water Branch for one of our properties. The welcome was both professional and positive, they photographed the property promptly and well and followed up whilst marketing it. A pleasure to deal with throughout, headed by James who is great, we would not hesitate to use them again after this experience and are genuinely very impressed.

Well things haven’t seem to have changed at Buckinghams... as always, obtuse and abrasive to deal with. I popped in today for an update and to see whether there was any chance of getting my deposit back....Still no luck. The staff involved with the initial problem have all since left but seems to have been replaced with someone just as one dimensional as before. Making claims of which he knows nothing of...I would be very wary when entering a letting agreement with Buckinghams they are not good sports. Brexit is here and it is important to pick the right agent or agents for the job. I do not believe that Buckinghams have the ability to perform during these times. It is key to have a good reputation and people skills especially when dealing with such a high end market and clientele. I can see they have several positive reviews but most of them seem to be quite forced, perhaps requested by the agent after my intial posting years ago.... In short there are many estate agents in Virginia water, ascot, Sunningdale. I myself could do a better job of finding or selling a suitable property without having to lock-in to one of these complicated agency contracts. I personally would avoid buckinghams like a house on fire. but hey the choice is yours the review is here. If you get caught out and lose a desposit or worse... don’t say I didn’t warn you! They wouldn’t even settle this morning for £50 of the £400 owed, just to call it quits and move on.. please refer to my other reviews for the original story. They claim they offered me 50% I went in to collect and “apologise” however I was insulted and berated by their head of lettings. This message is of my opinion. I am entitled to an opinion and to share that opinion. This is my truth and my experience. I hope someone finds this review helpful

Knight Frank - Ascot

59 High Street

We were selling our house during an extremely difficult period following the increases in stamp duty and then the pre/post referendum nervousness.Despite the lengthy period it took to find a suitable buyer, they eventually found two! Ed Shaw and the Ascot team provided a professional and very supportive service and we would have no hesitation in recommending them. Martin & Jenny Dowthwaite

I have been a consultant to Knight Frank for several years in my capacity as Project Manager and also a Building Surveyor and have always found them to be professional personable and the office well managed and run. The office is always clean and tidy and the staff are very welcoming when you arrive. I have never had any reason to doubt their integrity or their professional ability.

Your Move - Egham

49 High Street

Thank you to all the staff at Your Move in Egham for making my experience, pleasant and easy. I would highly recommend using Your Move if you are looking for properties. Thanks again

Matthew Cartwright

WORST ESTATE AGENTS IN THE UNIVERSE! Your-Move (Egham) believe they know what they're doing but they simply don't! As I'm a student they believe they can take as much money from me as possible. I seriously would not recommend any student to go through this estate agent at any cost! Our toilet over our 1 year tenancy contract did not work intermittently for a total of 18 days. After many attempts to try and get this fixed, Your-Move just gave up. They even offered to fit a new toilet into the house, but that did not happen. Would you pay your rent for a house with 1 toilet that doesn't work? I don't think you would. The staff at Your-Move (and Holloways Residential) are very rude, impatient, cocky and to be honest, don't even know what they're talking about half the time. They assume that because we're 'students', we don't know how to deal with renting accommodation as we have no experience. I agree with all the other reviews regarding the appalling service Your-Move provide; this doesn't even deserve 1 star. Another bad thing about Your-Move is that they don't inform the landlords regarding the issues the tenants are having; there seems to be a massive lack of communication between Your-Move and the landlords (the communication between tenants and Your-Move is also appalling). We are now in the process of trying to get our security deposit back; the check-out inventory wasn't even sent to us until we asked for it (they most likely weren't going to send it us so we couldn't dispute the inventory and so they could take more money from our deposit). Disgraceful.

Winkworth - Guildford

1 Epsom Road

We sold our property through Winkworth. We were impressed with the marketing of the property; Winkworth took the time to put together very good photographs, a detailed description and also a video of the property. We were kept updated on viewings and given feedback. We were pleased with the professional service provided at all stages.

This company does not follow procedure correctly and verges on criminality, if you are a student be very aware in fact do not use this company.

Chatterton Rees

45 Pont Street, London

We used Charlie Smith from Chatterton Rees to help us sell our property. He managed to find a buyer for us incredibly quickly and the whole process was managed by Charlie in a very professional and efficient manner. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Charlie to others seeking a hassle free property transaction.

Richard Lipman

Alexander at Chatterton Rees helped me to find a property to rent in Chelsea and really went out of his way to ensure it was the right place for me, which I am very happy with. I will definitely recommend.
