Worst experience ever. I rented a flat from dexters and on the day I moved in I discovered the windows were broken. It took them 3 months to get them fixed. Worst of all this was during the winter period. Their excuse was the landlord wanted to send his own contractor. They are over protective of their landlords and are extremely careless towards the tenants. Dishonest and deceptive team I do not recommend this agent to anyone. As you can see from the reviews they only acknowledge and reply to the good reviews and ignore everything else. Dishonest!

Thank you to the Foxtons staff at St John's Wood branch (Felicity, Miriame, Shah and Joan) who professionally dealt with the whole process of selling my property right from the beginning to the end. The staff constantly kept me in touch with finding viewers and feedback from the viewers. I came across stumbling blocks in the type of property I owned but the staff continually advised me and guided me in sorting out the problems. The staff were available on phone and via email each time I communicated with them. I am delighted at the sale of the property and I recommend anyone to use Foxtons.

Please consider this a warning from a 20 year old student that just moved in London. Foxtons has found us a good property, but living into it has been a nightmare. They are supposed to be 'managing the property', when actually every time I call to reach my property manager she is not there. Lets do a list of all the problems we've had. First, we arrived at the home and the previous tenants had left ALL their stuff (not even talking about hygiene conditions). So we had to take everything (clothes, luggages, shoes etc...) and put it out on the balcony for them to pick it up - which they did weeks later ( WEEKS). Second, the electricity and water bill of previous tenants was not paid - so to who did it fall to ? Us. And now whats happening ? We need to coordinate with electricity provider and foxtons (which of course don't answer) for us not to have a cut of electricity/water. Third, no information was given to us when moving in. The inventory reporting was really incredibly bad, and when asked about the meters for water and electricity, they we'rent even able to tell me where it is !! Oh and did I forget to mention they plan to kick us out of the house in the middle of the contract :) ? Please everyone - that's a warning... be careful with who you go with.. Attached is a picture is all the stuff we had to keep on our balcony for weeks.

Moving from Paris to London, we spent a few weeks looking for a flat to rent. Then we visited a property managed by Compton Reeback. The agents were always very friendly and answered all our questions. The liaison with the landlord (and all the paperwork) was also well managed, given our schedule constraints. In the end we are very happy in this flat, the property management team is dedicated and always happy to help. We can only recommend.

Compton Reeback is a great agency for Landlord , but never go there if you want to rent a property! They're all 100% with the Landlord, and will not give credit to what you have to say. We waited two weeks to have hot water fixed and we had to pay the plumber! But this was okay, no the worst is at the end of the tenancy when they tried to "forced us" to stay in the property for two months more, by allowing us only 2 moving out dates. ( Ultimatum ). I ve lived in many cities around Europe, and never saw an agency trying to force you to stay. Had a terrible experience there as a tenant, but I suppose all landlord are very pleased with the agency, as they are not paying for plumbing issues and as the agency makes ultimatum to tenant so they stay longer. This is just power abuse toward young europeans people who are going to go elsewhere if they are not welcome in London.

Greedy and untrustworthy.After our deal to pay in advance 5000£ for a studio in Cricklewwod, 3 months rent plus agency fees e.c.t, the next day they said that because of my unsatisfactory references i should pay 6 months up front rent, 7500£. After i rejected their offer, finally they made me the favour to procced with our first agreement.So if i had accepted to pay 7500£ probably they would asked me for 10000£. They were really hilarious! Instantly i cancelled the deal and i asked for a refund which was clearly stated that in case of unsatisfactory references it would be refundable.Of course they didn't. Be carefull guys, London is full of vultures.London Habitat is a great example.
