I wouldn't leave any stars if there's a option. the maintenance team never sort out the problem. everyone in this agency just shift the blame to other shoulders. Always said we give us a call back and never call back. High agency fees and nothing works. Filed several complains but nothing sort out. the worst service I ever had. btw, we contacted the maintenance team about our window problem a week before Christmas, and called few times. they said someone will contact us after New Year. I guess it will be after the new year of 2020 since we haven't received any calls or emails regarding the problem!

We've been renting our flat with Cedars for a number of years now and we can speak highly enough of the service Alex has offered.
He quickly won us over with his knowledge of the local rental market, his professionalism and his friendliness. Within a week, we'd already had a number of viewings and he worked tirelessly to try get us the best possible offer. The flat has been continuously occupied ever since without any gap between tenants.
In addition to helping us negotiate competitive rates with tenants and managing the property successfully, he always respond to phone calls and emails immediately. We will certainly continue to use Cedars and in particular Alex’s services.
I've got really bad service from them as a tanent. Lived with a leak in my bedroom for a year. My belongings were destroyed by this. Took the ages to actually do something about it while I was paying a lot of money and 'enjoying' the pouring rain in my room literally...

Appalling service. Booked an appointment to see a flat, which they confirmed in writing. They didn't show up on the day/time agreed and when called said the flat was under offer. They could have told me and stopped me wasting my time, but they decided against it. Second time it's happened as well.
Would highly recommend Ludlow Thompson, laura was extremely accommodating, freindly and she clearly had a vast knowledge of the Finsbury Park area, she was also very good with finding properties that matched mine and my flat mates criteria. She exceeded all expectations and will definitely use her services again!
Ludlow Thompson are a prime example of why estate agents have a poor reputation. Smarmy, dishonest, and unprofessional best sum up our letting experience. Steer clear.
We were initially advised that the agreed negotiated price had been accepted but when we went to sign the contracts, the old advertised price was listed instead. First, our agent questioned as to whether I remembered the conversation correctly (he was the one who told me the "good news" of the alleged negotiation- clearly they are lacking basic records), and then he advised that there would be a delay to the move in date as the contracts would need to be amended. Following this, he noted that he would do us the immense "favour" of going ahead on the date as planned but not taking his full commission. He then requested that we give Ludlow Thompson for a positive review because he was doing this "favour" (again, it's not really a favour but more of an attempt put things right in the aftermath of his errors- especially as we had grounds to pull out if the landlord hadn't agreed).
He and his colleague then sent me constant e-mails requesting that gleaming review under the guise of possibly winning a free dinner if the review was positive. I don't know who actually believes that nonsense, but certainly not me. I left a semi-positive review because I loved the home, and was also worried about not getting the deposit back in full because not only did I distrust them, but felt that they were quite capable of getting us out of the home if they had a higher bidder. Although gutted, I wasn't surprised to have been served notice at the period of the break clause (not for anything we did). Our neighbour later stated that this happened all the time with our property. When we tried to get support from Ludlow Thompson to find a new property, they failed to respond to e-mails, phone messages, and no one seemed to know whether the agency fees would be needed again in full. One agent advised me that they hate to see people leave at the break clause because "we don't get the full commission". At least they are honest about prioritising their desire for money over customer service.

We rented through Regent for 3 years. During our time with them they were very attentive and responded to any issues promptly. Their renewal process was easy, and Alastair was very helpful when our tenancy came to an end. Overall very happy with their service
Worst property management we have ever experienced. They take AGES to resolve issues and are terrible with their accounting. There are some useful staff but they are seemingly worn down or leave the company due to the mess that it is.
