i had a viewing with Silvana Bojra and was incredibly impressed by her professionalism. she tried her best to find us a property and went above and beyond to try and find me a property to rent. unfortunately i didn't find something however as a negotiator Silvana was perfect. She is truly a credit to Dexters.
Worst experience ever. I rented a flat from dexters and on the day I moved in I discovered the windows were broken. It took them 3 months to get them fixed. Worst of all this was during the winter period. Their excuse was the landlord wanted to send his own contractor. They are over protective of their landlords and are extremely careless towards the tenants. Dishonest and deceptive team I do not recommend this agent to anyone. As you can see from the reviews they only acknowledge and reply to the good reviews and ignore everything else. Dishonest!
Alessandro was great. Wouldn't actually have secured the flat (to rent) without him. I know Foxtons has a reputation for aggression on the market (though it's true their fees are rather high) but every aspect of dealing with them has been efficient and stress-free. We love our new flat.
Please consider this a warning from a 20 year old student that just moved in London. Foxtons has found us a good property, but living into it has been a nightmare. They are supposed to be 'managing the property', when actually every time I call to reach my property manager she is not there.
Lets do a list of all the problems we've had.
First, we arrived at the home and the previous tenants had left ALL their stuff (not even talking about hygiene conditions). So we had to take everything (clothes, luggages, shoes etc...) and put it out on the balcony for them to pick it up - which they did weeks later ( WEEKS).
Second, the electricity and water bill of previous tenants was not paid - so to who did it fall to ? Us. And now whats happening ? We need to coordinate with electricity provider and foxtons (which of course don't answer) for us not to have a cut of electricity/water.
Third, no information was given to us when moving in. The inventory reporting was really incredibly bad, and when asked about the meters for water and electricity, they we'rent even able to tell me where it is !!
Oh and did I forget to mention they plan to kick us out of the house in the middle of the contract :) ?
Please everyone - that's a warning... be careful with who you go with..

I have had a wonderful dealing with KFH agents. They are super amazing agents, so helpful, went out of their ways to help me throughout the purchase process, often after their office hours. Communications were excellent, clear and prompt. I am so grateful and owe so much to Paul Michael for liaising between various parties involved in my sale and purchase, helping so much with various issues each has, beyond the completions of both. I am also grateful to Annabel Hauswirth who has been so patient with me and my difficulties.
Appalling service. Booked an appointment to see a flat, which they confirmed in writing. They didn't show up on the day/time agreed and when called said the flat was under offer. They could have told me and stopped me wasting my time, but they decided against it. Second time it's happened as well.

We were able to rent a property through this branch. The property was made available on the correct date as per our requests and the staff were very friendly.
However, it was a very unorganised and unprofessional process and we were charged fees that our previous real estate did not charge us. We weren't given information about the property even though it was requested.
Simpy outstanding. Annabel went above and beyond what was expected to get this over the line. When she was away, notwithstanding the time difference, she was exactly the same. Dean covered and again, I was thoroughly impressed. Also, they achieved a record price for the area. A job well done all around
We had an excellent experience during our initial rental with the estate agent from Winkworth, however the check-out process from the flat was abysmal. The manager of the property, Agnieszka Kostanowicz, was an extremely poor liaison between us (the renters) and the landlord. Despite being called good tenants and leaving the apartment in excellent condition, as told to us by our estate agent from Winkworth, Aggie (as she is known) tried to justify taking two-thirds of our security deposit to pay for fees and "damages" done to the property that were obviously conflated to get more money for the landlord. Be careful negotiating your security deposit with her.
