Highly recommend Pennycuick Collins block management department. They were appointed in August 2019 in the management of the building I live in and since their appointment they have resolved a number of long outstanding issues that the previous agents had not dealt with including a number of common area leaks. Routine maintenance has quickly been addressed and the property manager is quick to respond and deal with any queries. The results are that everyone here is living in a far nicer home and we are confident that Pennycuick Collins will continue to build on this!
Like many of the people leaving reviews here, I don't feel a sense of good value living in an apartment building managed by Pennycuick Collins. Since they took over from the previous management company, the 6 month service charge has gone up with each consecutive billing, totalling around £2,100 a year, and most of the time I'm wondering what that really affords us when they take significantly longer than expected to fix any kind of problem, and don't seem to use their own initiative to take care of anything like dead bulbs in communal areas unless you report it to them then chase up again 2 weeks later. I've also found their head office staff to be condescending and generally unhelpful, especially when a bill comes through with no explanation of what it actually is. Would definitely not recommend this company.
I can highly recommend both rental and sales teams
They are polite and always goes the extra miles
To say we are dissapointed is an understatement, I would not give them 1 star ifI had the option.
We contacted the redditch branch within 1 hour of a rental property added onto right move ( Saturday 27th April 19 ) to request a possible viewing. We received no call back.
Two days later we made another call (Monday 29th April 19) to be told the earliest opportunity we could view the property would be Thursday 2nd may so we provided them with numerous times and date we would be available.
Again no reply from hunters
On Wednesday1st April we made another call to the branch requesting an update to be told viewings had already taken place several days ago and an application has since been accepted. Clearly this property had been reserved for someone they knew.
Customer service is appaling and incompetent staff. Potential tenants and landlords be aware.
I sold my house with Dixons Redditch! The service I have received from all of the team at Dixons Redditch has been great. After a very dismal experience with two local agents who both "tried" to sell my house, I eventually turned to Dixons and really wish I had done so earlier. They gave me practical advice on how best to present my home, how to make it appealing in pictures, and when viewers came in person. They worked with me, providing feedback, stats and the level of communication which I wanted. They didn't shie away from giving me difficult feedback either, such as information about the market in relation to my asking price, and they sought to understand the reasons and urgency behind my desire to sell and took that into account when delivering properly personalised advice to me. Yes, they are more expensive than the local agents I had initially tried, but it seems you do get what you pay for! I have also used Countrywide Mortgage Services and Becky Lea has been amazing - great service! I elected to take advantage of the enhanced marketing package and whilst I don't think we ever got the video tour to work (which is actually a voice over to a series of stills) it was worth every single penny of £149. Viewers commented on the quality of the pictures and how much they had wanted to see the property after viewing them. The professional photographer meant that colours were sharper and brighter and shots were from a better angle. As well as all this it included access to the Countrywide Conveyancing Services fast track service and CCS have been extremely efficient...great service yet again.
I used the letting department at Dixons to rent one of our properties out. Kate & Liana were efficient & friendly & got our propertied rented quickly. Would highly recommend & will only use these guys in future...
We are just arranging our first-ever property rental and have had excellent service from Emma, throughout. She has guided us through the process and been friendly, helpful, competent and professional. Very happy.
The letting agent was rude, insulting and made it clear i was not wanted as a customer. Disgraceful service and a shame as i loved the property!
Thank you for helping us buy our first home!! The girls in the office at Redditch were always happy to help, very friendly and supportive (especially Debbie). We really appreciate you keeping us up to date with any developments and helping us with the whole process!
Brilliant and friendly experience. Very helpful and quick to respond with any queries. Were able to fit us in quickly for viewings and helped us move smoothly through buying our dream home. The team is very friendly.
