Dire experience throughout my tenancy with these guys. They missed my check-in day, causing costs and delay, and they are not up-to-date with the latest tenancy deposit regulations and automatically side with the landlord on all disputes.

Below is my recent experience of Andrew Grant-
Received rightmove alert 2x properties in Solihull had just been listed - full details to follow, I was interested and telephoned up Andrew Grant immediately.
Phil took my details, he said we dont have the keys yet until around monday, I will phone you as soon as we have the keys and you can view the properties...
Phil didnt call Monday - I wrongly presumed he had not 'received' the keys.
Then next day he called me and said sorry, someone who has viewed the properties has put in an offer for both, which has been acepted...
'Kind of a back door deal' he said.... well thats just what i was thinking - but for him to state it....
Well that tells you all you need to about this firm, so I would avoid.

Update following comment by Philip Gould mnaea-
Its a shame when someone just cannot admit they have done wrong, and then go and make things worse by trying to justify what they did by putting a spin on matters - and to be frank not telling the truth.
The facts are there had been no previous viewers of the property, as 'Phil' stated they didnt even have the keys yet.
Phil obviously did not contact me to let me know he had the keys (even though I must have been one of the first to ring and ask to view),
My personal view is he kept people back so his 'contact, friend, rich property developer etc (insert which one Phil), could view both properties and purchase both of them - at the expense of those who dont have half a million pounds floating about in their bank account...
Their will be a bit more to it...£ but obviously I cannot speculate on here why he did what he did???
Any way, you mak eyour mind up what sort of person your dealing with, and look out for some more 5***** ultra positive reviews from ghuess who..

Absolute shambles waiting 3 weeks for valuation and then receptionist gives me wrong day even though I was face too face then told today not for another week or so. Never again try them. Need too train office staff to do the job

Very Poor, unprofessional handling of our interest in a House to Let (that changed to a house for Sale). Displayed a complete lack of common courtesy i'm afraid !!!

Andrew Grant advertised a property in Alcester to Let (on behalf of a landlord who had previously been letting the property for some time) My wife and I arranged with Andrew Grant to view the property. After the viewing we advised Andrew Grant that we would be more than happy to rent the property should the landlord want to proceed with us. After a few calls and e-mails Andrew Grant advised that the Landlord was happy to proceed but would just need to complete some decoration work in the property. My wife and I foolishly started to pack but worringly no paperwork or date communication was forthcoming from Andrew Grant. We chased for updates and left messages, sent e-mails but response was poor except for Andrew Grant to once or twice say that the landlord was abroad and that they were waiting to talk to him to get some dates. This went on for nearly 2 months before we noticed that the house suddenly turned up on Rightmove via Andrew Grant as 'For Sale', which of course pretty much meant that we could assume it was no longer available to us 'To Let'

My wife and I of course appreciate that this sort of thing can happen, as landlords circumstances can change, but the point of the review is to convey the disppointment and grievance that we felt as we were seemingly lead up the garden path, kept in the dark for quite a while, with the ultimate insult from Andrew Grant being to show us a complete lack of respect, having never to this day communicated to us at all about the landlords change of mind and furthermore never to this day have we had any form of apology !!!
