Very poor communication from the sales team. Left several voicemails on the office phone and calls never returned. Contacted through the online chat initially to view a property and nothing heard. Totally incompetent.

Nowadays all agents can promote a house online and get lots of people to visit.

It’s at offer stage and beyond where the value of an agent becomes really important.

Andrew Grant acted on the sale of our house. I liked how Andrew Grant Stourbridge presented local properties and I felt a lot of confidence in Vicky’s advice on the local market. Her colleagues in the office Stephen and Rebecca were always very efficient and helpful.

Our sale became very complicated at exchange due to problems down the chain, and at times it felt like the sale would fall through. Vicky really impressed at this point, in her tenacity, judgement and negotiation skills. Without her intervention at several key stages, our sale/ purchase could have fallen through.

I would have no hesitation in recommending the Stourbridge branch of Andrew Grant to someone selling their property.

What an incompetent agency save your self the pain and use someone else Sunday before Christmas two viewing booked first one no show so I called the client direct to find out he had cancelled with AG a few days before but know one could be bothered to tell me second client no show so again I contacted them direct to find that the agent had not contacted them to confirm day and time so all in all thank you AG for wasting my time I will now remove the property from AG and find an agent that is interested in conducting business in a professional manner.

An excellent example of good old fashioned slimy estate agents, thankfully a dying breed now. Push their 'modern auction', which is actually just a way of tripling their fees. One particular agent lied to the vendor's solicitor, saying I had pulled out of a purchase when in fact I had refused to accept their change of sale type and demand of £5000 to proceed. I asked twice on the phone what this payment was, and he pretended not to know. Claimed that the massively increased agent's fee hadn't affected his advice to the vendor. Needless to say, their completion was held up as their next buyer took much longer than we did to exchange contracts. Only winners were Andrew Grant. Go elsewhere if you want an honest agent.

In response to your comment, you can ask the vendor's solicitor why they told my solicitor they thought I'd pulled out, and then ask Duncan Saunders why he has failed to respond to my request for him to deny that he said this. I find it hard to see sincerity in your offer to discuss, as you have my contact details. You obviously don't intend to do anything about this, just weak public platitudes in response to a negative review.

Second comment, it is quite plainly a lie that the fees are similar- a £5000 'reservation fee' is far in excess of the standard of 1.5% or even 2% you ask from sellers. In terms of transparency, your customer is the seller not the buyer.

Phoned up today to view a property, I was asked what our position was I explained we are looking to buy or extend our house I was told we couldn't view the property. I don't know how they intend to sell houses if you can't view them.
