I was looking for a flat on a very short timeline and was let down on viewing some properties. Daniel from Barnard Marcus came out at very short notice to allow me to view a property the same afternoon and by the time I had got home on the train the initial agreements were all organised. he has subsequently kept me fully informed of the progress to letting agreement and smoothed over a few glitches along the way. Very easy to do business with.
The worse agency in the world! They were so unprofessional for a London company, they did mistakes from the beginning about the calculation of my rent and deposit, which i needed to correct and after they never help me for all the problems i ve got with the appartement: No lights, no heater (for winter you can imagine!) They didn't reply my email! it and I when i left the flat they didn't give me my entire money back with no reason, they stole me 250 £ because they knew i won't go to court for this amount! DON T GO there it is a real experience and advice !!!
Jonny Pirouzi at Hamptons International acted as agent for us in the purchase of a complicated bank repossession. It was an extremely stressful process due to a lack of information (as is common in bank repo cases). Jonny made the time to talk to us every day on the phone for 2 months, pursued information requests and processes with untiring and unflailing energy, and was a joy to work with. His enthusiasm was infectious and his honesty was also something that we really valued in this process - having met a lot of real estate agents who 'mischaracterized' situations. He was a trusted broker between seller and buyer and really cared about having a fair and cost-effective transaction for all sides. I have told all our friends to engage his services and am incredibly grateful to Jonny and his firm for the thoroughness, professionalism, courtesy and responsiveness.
Everything was very complicated.
We have rented a flat through Jack, and he didn’t do the necessary things. Every days we had to call him, he didn’t respond or call back.
It was a terrible experience, we was in a hurry, gave all documents needed but nothing happened.
He obliged us to sign the contract which provides a start date different than the effective one (because of him).
Once he had his fee, we didn’t hear from him again.
To conclude run away !
I highly, highly recommend Hudsons Property to anyone looking to sell or buy a home in London. Stuart and Margaret were accommodating and helpful throughout every step of the process and made it as stress free as they possibly could. Honest, reliable and trustworthy are words I would use without hesitation to describe them. They certainly don't live up to the usually pushy reputation of other estate agents in the area. I genuinely felt like they had my best interest at heart. Thank you.
Had a flat viewing with the "director" yesterday. He took us up to the flat after barely introducing himself or saying anything when we first met, took us in - didnt even bother to explain anything about the flat until asked and just stood there as if he was watching paint dry, making us feel super uncomfortable. Felt as if we were bothering him!
He didnt even bother to turn the lights on the living room when we entered to show us the flat ! Had to ask myself
Definitely wont be taking anything further with this agency as they seem disinterested, unprofessional and bored
No wonder they have so many recent 1 star reviews recently
Very very great guy: Matthew. Really helpful, was early for the viewing, polite well mannered young man, always willing to go the extra mile to make my tenancy agreement as easy as possible! Overall I had a great experience with Relocate Me, would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a property.
GUYS BEFORE TO BOOK SOMETHING WITH THIS AGENCY, READ ALL THE REVIEWS PLEASE!
This is the WORST EXPERIENCE which I had in London when I came to live here as they take joke of 'you' because they don't care about helping someone, they just want to make money and they see you like a business purpose. I FIND THEM
NOT PROFESSIONAL, RUDE AND ARROGANT. ABOVE OF ALL ONE BLACK GUY TALL. I THINK IS THE SUPERVISOR. IF YOU NEED AN HOUSE OR ROOM DON'T CHOOSE THIS AGENCY ABSOLUTELY.
UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE AND THEY DON'T PROVIDE TO FIND THE RIGHT ACCOMODATION AS THEY ARE LOOKING ONLY TO MAKE MONEY.
TO SAY THEY ARE THE WORST WOULD EVEN BE A COMPLIMENT.
I contacted Dexters from overseas when I knew I would be needing an apartment in Central London for period of just over 12 months. I was contacted both by email and phone by one of their agents Ian Codrington who listened carefully to my needs and drew up a list of possible apartments for me to see when I arrived in London. Although it was a Bank Holiday he came in to show me the apartments the day after I arrived. Each apartment he showed me actually suited my needs and was within the price range I had asked for. Having decided on one, Ian and indeed two other colleagues from the same office Adam and James, went out of their way to ensure that I was able to move in as soon as possible. I later learned that moving in within two days of signing the contract was indeed fast-tracking.
Ian and his colleagues were efficient and extremely professional at all times and I would have no hesitation of recommending them to others likely to be needing accommodation in Central London.
1. When moving in they forgot to do inventory check 2. They came in after moving in to do an inventory check and left a massive stain on the carpet. 3. They never cleaned the place and asked the landlord to still pay the fees for cleaning. Never disclosed that the neighbours were noisy in downstairs restaurant. They finish business at 11:30 but remained in the premises until 4:30 am play cards and drinking alcohol. This said restaurant owner physically assaulted me and when I approached the letting agents to end the contract citing safety concerns, showed no empathy towards me and insisted that it was a personal matter and tehy were not responsible for it. I've had an absolutely horrible time dealing with them and would never ever deal with them again!
Portico is a great property agent company. Particularly thanks to Shaun in London Museum Street branch who got a nice flat for me and this is my third year with them. Very responsive as well as good customer service. I would suggest university student in London to have a look if you are looking for a flat in upcoming year.

We were looking for an investment property to purchase, arranged a viewing with this agent on Saturday a week in advance. A day before the viewing the agent tried to cancel our viewing - when I expressed my dissatisfaction, somehow their diary can fit us in again! Anyway, we went for viewing when agent was late, was specialising in letting not sales, and the other agent who supposedly prepared the brochures printed the wrong flat information... it was quite poor quality. After the viewing, I started receiving funny personal messages from the sales agent who is apparently supposed to “look after the sale” - clearly messages meant for her friends on a Saturday which is frankly just embarrassing and highly unprofessional. Despite the experience, we tried to make an offer on one of the flats viewed, the agent was rude throughout the process, making wild assumptions about me and my partner’s personal situations and overall just irritating and uncomfortable to deal with. They hold no grasp of the market, challenge our personal views and get argumentative for no reason. We eventually withdrew offer and went with another agent on another flat purchase. In my limited experience with property investments in the last three years, they are of rather poor quality and I would think twice about using them if I were the seller as it is a bad experience as a buyer. I don’t want to be too harsh to name the agent but she should not be pursuing this profession where interpersonal skills are essential.
