Absolutely first class letting agents! Myself and my partner worked overseas for the UK Government. Trying to move back to the UK was a nightmare - the worst part was trying to rent a property when not in the UK to view and no recent UK credit history. No letting agents could get to grips with our circumstances and most were quite unhelpful. Not Whitegates! They were amazing and sorted everything out for us. They thought outside the box and came up with solutions for us. Very professional, very helpful, very polite - they went that extra mile for us and secured us a lovely 3 bedroom property to rent that allowed dogs whilst we were still overseas. I cannot speak highly enough of them and would recommend anybody looking to rent or let out a property to use Whitegates. I myself own properties and let them out and when I buy a property in Merseyside I will definitely be using Whitegates if I decide to let it out.... Read more

Over the moon with the service received from Whitegates, Prenton. The staff are all so friendly, efficient and HONEST! 3 quality's I've found to be few an far between along my property search... Nothing was too much trouble for these ladies and their knowledge and passion for the industry was second to none. A special little mention to Yvonne, who I really felt went above and beyond, both with my sale and helping me with a purchase! It is for the Landlords who are browsing about which letting agency to go to. When a tenant likes a house like us we always think we can put up with letting agencies. So I think this review is not much for tenants but to you landlords. 1) The bathtub had horrible mold which the agency left there for us to deal with. Which we did and the Landlord paid for that because the repair team was in the house doing some work and left the mold behind. 2) The landlord changed the carpet but the repair team didn't shave the doors. Some hinges were coming off because of the strain putting on the doors when opening/closing. My husband replace to some strong nails but the kitchen door top hinge was actually so rust that it split in two. July the girl from West Derby said someone was coming. I phoned few times to say nobody came during that week. It was so embarrassing calling her because she wants to get rid off you as fast as possible, when I was trying to help. We gave up. Nobody came. And the Landlord paid for the bill. Who cashed the money?!?!? 3) there is a leaking in the room downstairs right under the bathtub. It was reported 5 months ago. Again two months ago. We took pictures, filled the forms twice. The Landlord will pay a far bigger bill when the roof comes down with that water leaking and if it kills my child or hurt somebody... oh boy.... Who Will pay for all of these? 4) Boiler stopped working. We looked up for the manual online. Watched videos. Filled the online report. Then another rude person from West Derby called Emma treated us like two idiots who don't know how to use a computer. Phoned another branch's and again. Here on our own without heating and hot water. The bill which the landlord may pay again which someone there will cash it because we need hit water and we will have to pay from our pocket. Landlords beware! You are reading this review from a family who has been always adored by our previous Landlords in Muswell Hill, London and Osney Island, Oxford I need to mention that Darren is a good guy. Polite, attentive and professional. If you have problem try to reach him.... Read more
