Property listings are matched to data from the Land Registry by our clever algorithm. Clever as it may be, it isn't always right, especially if a property was listed by multiple agents. Latest Reviews for Anscombe & Ringland - Highgate

We dealt with Paul and his team at the Chancellors Highgate branch for over 6 years - we bought, rented and then sold our flat through the agency and genuinely received a fantastic level of service throughout. Would highly recommend their services to anyone looking to buy, sell or let a property in the area!

Very frustrating experience. I called them around 10 times. Left my phone number and they promised they would call me back. At the end, I did not manage to speak any one and missed a good opportunity.

We went through a horrible and traumatic experience while being tenants of a property let and managed by Chancellors Highgate. Chancellors jeopardised our safety.
Last summer, on Saturday 8th July 2017, while we were away on holidays, a Chancellors contractor entered our property without our knowledge or consent. Chancellors had allowed the contractor to take the keys of our house without our knowledge or our consent. During several hours that afternoon, the contractor indecently exposed himself in our property, in our garden, in our kitchen and in front of neighbours who witnessed it. He did repugnant and obscene things right next to our children’s toys, and went through our intimate belongings.
We came back from holidays on the 10th July 2017, unaware of this event. Chancellors failed to notify us of the incident until 16 days later despite being fully aware of the incident since the 10th of July. In the meantime, the contractor kept our keys for a few days as Chancellors did not bother checking he gave them back. With such a long time, he could have easily made a copy of the keys meaning that during more than two weeks, our children and us were completely vulnerable and at the mercy of this obscene man to come back, enter the property and do whatever came to his mind.
Following the announcement of this incident (which had been reported to the police by a neighbour), it felt to us like Chancellors had completely abandoned us. They were not eager to speak to us anymore and redirected us to the company’s solicitor. Chancellors never offered any help, any support, never came to meet us to check that we were safe. We had to change the locks ourselves; the idea never came to their mind. The cleaning had to be done by a company which we paid ourselves. Chancellors had the cheek to come back with an email asking to come for an inspection to make sure that we as tenants were keeping the property in a good way. We were astonished by their conduct.
My wife and children stayed abroad. We had to move out of the property as we no longer felt safe and could no longer trust Chancellors. Chancellors were defiant and never admitted any liability. They offered us an insulting level of compensation.
I will never use Chancellors again due to my above experience.

Estate agents can sometimes be a little bit on the "too much" side, so we were very pleased when we met Athena. She was very flexible with our schedules, and was very clear and helpful throughout the whole of the checking-in process. Definitely reccomend her and Chancellors!

Athena was extremely helpful in helping me find the properties that fit my budget/preference. She was also very responsive to emails and phones. I liked that she gave me honest opinions and very knowledgable of the area. Thanks for your help, Athena!

Well, where does one start? Firstly, if I could mark it down as zero stars or minus I would do, so I guess they have Google to thank on this instance. Anyway, myself and my partner were booked in to see Flat 11, Highcroft in Surbiton with Hannah Whitney on Wednesday 26th September 2019 at 5:30pm. I had called in advance to confirm that my partner was booked in to see the property and that we would be there at 5:30. I was expressly told by the representative that she would be there at that time to show us the property... so we had arrived there on time only to then have to wait around for almost an hour and a half with no sign of the agent. We thought, okay sometimes people are running late and to be fair there are on going roadworks in this area. We then called the estate agents who had advised that she "was on her way and that she was caught up in a bit of traffic" - this was at 5:35pm. Again, time passed so we thought let's put in another call yet again, this time we had gone through to the so called "head office" and they had mentioned that they would call her directly and also put a call through to her manager Ryan to see what was going on. Any guesses as to what happened next? We waited around again for a call back, nothing yet again. Pathetic. We put in a call once more at around 6:45 and again it went through to the "head office" who then had the audacity to tell us that she had actually been there for around 20 minutes waiting for us... sorry, given the fact that we actually live in the 21st century would not taking the number of clients and calling them to see where they are not be the logical thing to do? Also, correct me if I'm mistaken, how could someone that is "caught up in traffic" be the same person that has apparently waited around for 20 minutes before? I hope the landlord of this property has time to look at this review and actually put two and two together as to why their property is yet to be rented. Oh, and we were also apparently meant to be "contacted as a matter of urgency" the next day (being Thursday 27th September) by either Hannah herself or her manager Ryan but of course, absolutely nothing. Utter shocking handling of a customer's enquiry and in all honesty if it were my property under their management then it would be revoked with immediate effect. When you guys have a minute to read then this I think it would be nice to get a phonecall, just out of a thing called common courtesy.

Sam Bishop brings a dynamic, pro-active professionalism to his role and is a great compliment to the Chancellors team. He connects with potential buyers and listens to their needs and shares his insights on the market. We found we could build a clear communication with Sam about what was happening in the market and he always spent time returning calls and emails. He stayed in touch and always kept us front-of-mind. It's this type of rare but essential attention that helps buyers and vendors connect to insure both parties get the result they want.

We bought a property with Chancellors (March - July).
Oliver previously of the slough branch now at the Bracknell branch initially showed us round and has generally held our hands throughout the entire process.
Invaluable and truly dedicated he has been exceptional throughout.

I would highly recommend him/chancellors to anyone, the entire experience has been made a lot easier/simpler with his/there help.
