They will waste your time, they’ll use your offer to get higher offers, completely unethical company, they seem very money hungry, I’ve learnt to avoid them now in the future as they play games,

They were the politest estate agents ive spoken to whilst looking to rent and actually treated us like people which is a first for us as other estate agents haven't. My only complaint is that i was told i would receive emails when a property would be good for me and i havent recieved any like that so i couldve missed out on properties if i had relied on their mailing system

Is too long the story to tell it on here ,but all i can say is that from all the agencies in Southport they are the only agency that doesn’t make viewings even if the measures related to Covid have easesd .You have to apply for a property and then if you are lucky and you are chosen by the landlord(this is what they say even if i think is not true),then you have to pay one week rent to secure it and MAYBE then you can see the property you apply for .Well for me sounds like russian rulette ,how am i supposed to pay upfront deposit for a house that i didn’t saw it with my own eyes,a house that i don’t even know the sizes of the rooms so i can see if the house is suitable for the furniture i have,etc .On top of that i called three times to be told the same story ,we will call you ,the landlord didn’t called us back,etc .Last time when we spoke with them my husband explained that we gave notice to our current agency and we don’t have too much time to wait and the women from this agency hanged up the phone in his nose .This is not how you treat a possible future tenant ,I am amazed that in 2021 there are still people that judge you based on race ,without even meet you face to face !

Unprofessional staff and poor communication between them/incompetent with their duties. Impolite manner at times and even sarcastic or temperamental when responding to issues or complaints. Bad company, avoid and let through one of the many many better agencies.

I finally decided to sell my Apartment and went to AJ estate agents to discuss the potential value of the property and their costs.
I was met by Nicole who was very pleasant and professional. Within a matter of 30 minutes, she had an estimated realistic value of my property and the costs to complete the sale.
After agreeing to AJ selling the property, Nicole was in touch constantly, informing me of how the sale would be managed and within ONE viewing, my Apartment was sold at the full asking price!
Nicole’s manner, professionalism and genuine interest in selling the property was evident from the minute I met her.
I would highly recommend Nicole and Anthony James Estate Agents if you are considering selling.

Very disappointed with this company.
My brother and his severely disabled wife have not been looked after by Antony James.
The maintenance especially the damp in the property has not been flagged up even though they do maintenance checks.
Feel both the landlords and Antony James have taken advantage of vulnerable people.
Both now in care and not refunded their deposit.
