Adore Properties - Westhoughton

Direct House, 87 Church Street, Westhoughton

Adore Properties was brilliant all the way from enquiry to settling in my new home. Adele was the agent I dealt with and she offered nothing but a friendly professional service the whole time and helped to eliminate any obstacles I had. Adele made me feel like a friend not a customer. I really appreciate the experience I had. Adore don't just stop once you move in, they help to give you the contacts and tools to make life easier after moving i.e. setting up bill payments, links to providers etc. Thanks to Adore and Adele I am settled and extremely happy in my new home.

THE RUDEST MOST UNPROFESSIONAL ESTATE AGENTS IV DEALT WITH. -Purchasing a property - I was told the keys would be released 2pm , this was then pushed back to 4 by the vendors , which is not their fault and I was fine with until I recieve another message at 3.40 to say it’s now going to be 6pm. When I stated I was not happy and the vendors were in breach of contract I was told ..’ turn up at 4.30 then and sort it with them’ HOW UNPROFESSIONAL ! And isn’t that your job! To be honest I’m not happy that I have to collect the keys off the vendors and would much rather do it as I always have from the estate agent , however clearly they are lazy and can’t be arsed. Valuation of a property - I am still waiting a valuation from the rude woman that came to valuate a property I own , making nosey rude comments such as she hopes I’m not remortgaging this property for the one I’m buying ect . Just a bad experience from the start , they are pushy wen they want the sale ringing , muttering whilst I’m at work and throughout the day busy - 4-5 times and then as soon as the sale happens can’t be arsed go sort the problem . APPAULING AND WOULD DEFINATLY NOT RECOMMENDED

Reeds Rains - St Helens

15 - 17 Barrow Street

We recently re-mortgaged with reeds rains, we needed a fast completion so that work could start on building the house extension asap. Sandi was our mortgage advisor and she was excellent from start to finish, a great laugh and professional, she worked tirelessly to make sure everything went smoothly and also helped us get a better deal on life insurance. I highly recommend the service provided.

Dear All, please do not use this estate agents to manage your property for letting. This estate agents managed my property in Rainfall, full management of property where they took 15% of rent as their fee. No one knows who is responsible to my property. appliances replaced., no paper work provided., when there is a problem with that appliance, then they ask me for warranty. property repairs were requested, money paid, no one know, who and when work was done. Same problems recurred within few months. Garden was infested with rats. The tenant left the house., no one informed me. The house was left empty for more than 2 months. They didn't bother to re-advert to rent., it took more than 3 months to repair the property, costed me more than £7000., before anyone can live there. I had full rental protection insurance., but they refused to pay any money to repair the property from deposit when tenant vacated. i was asked to pay for court fee to vacate the tenants, though they managed property. the finance department keep sending the invoice for those already paid. No apologies no explanation No one knows what they are doing., right hand doesn't know what left hand does in this company. Despite making complaint, i was assured they will not send any more invoice for those which is already paid. But, i keep getting those e-mails., i won't be surprised if these guys destroy my credit rating as well. One of the worst kind of agency i have used. Never Ever ever use this agents for anyone., not recommend anyone.

New Brooklands

94 High Street

New Brooklands sold our house within a few days of us putting up on the market. They were the best value in Newton and offered good honest advice about the current state of the market and available properties. Having sold our house they then found us a potential new house which was due to come onto the market and we bought it without it coming onto public sale. This really helped us otherwise we'd have still been looking for months. Several other agents in Newton never bothered to come back to us about potential properties even though we had registered as looking for a house with them but Richard made everything much easier by getting us first refusal on our new home.

I tried to arrange a viewing for a property they was selling. I was advised that I need to send an email, which I did. I asked some basic questions about the property which an agents should know but was advised to call back the next day. I called back the next day, late in the afternoon and spoke to a rude receptionist. They had no record of my enquiry from the previous day either. They said they don't have availability for viewings rill the following week, I said that isn't good service. The lady put the phone down on me. I called back, but they didn't answer I did leave a voicemail saying how unprofessional and ignorant they were... But still no returned phone call. Stay well away.

The staff at Newton are very friendly and helpful. Cannot praise them enough. Dealt with many estate agents and Newton Bridgfords are a refreshing change. Go out of their way to help and assist. Recommend them to anyone.

David Considine

Absolutely TERRIBLE service, don't waste your time buying or selling through Bridgefords, they are the most unprofessional people I have ever come across! Disappointing from start to finish! We should have realised from the start because when the woman came to value our house she thought it was ok to slag off their other customers calling one of them "Greedy" because she had valued their house at less than they put it up for sale for. Then when we made an offer on another house we were not kept informed, only finding out that our offer had not been accepted when we drove past the house and saw the sold sign. Then when I contacted them about this they told blatant lies, saying that we were informed that the house was already sold before we went to view! (Wouldn't have even viewed it if this was the case) Very unprofessional, they tell you lies and then try to justify them with more lies. Don't waste your time/effort/money!

THINK Sales Lettings Mortgages - Newton-le-Willows

The team are fabulous. The phone only needs to ring once and somebody answers. Thank you for being so prompt, friendly and helpful!

I can only assume some of the other reviews have been written via staff, as I cannot be the only one to have had such awful dealings with what can only be described as a secondrate estate agents. The onwer Aiden, is more interested in securing a sale at any cost regardless if you the vendor feel the offer is fair; He has a very abrupt and condisnding manor and I had to ask him if he was working for me or the purchaser. I also had the misfortune of delaing with his son who seems to feel it is beyond him to reply to emails, or to even notify me that he or trademan would be visiting my property and even gave the key to an electrician to carry out an inspection without anyone else being present. I was only aware that one was visiting when I called at my property. In addiont to this, he also turned up at my property 2 days before the completions and moving date with the purchaser for her to do some final meassuring again without letting me know HIs explanatiopn was "oh I though you werent living in the property, to which I stated, I am not and whilst |I work away from home all my personal persessions were in my home" Jack then blamed the staff in the office for not emailijg me to tell me about the visit that day. In my opinion little more than a cop out. The Only saving grace this company has is that they employ a lady called Sharon and any delaings with her were always delat with very professionally and all emnails were fully responded to. Perhaps she could teach Aiden and his son, bother the social and interpersonal skills they are both sadly lacking.

Hobsons Estate Agents - Newton-Le-Willows - Sales

47-49 High Street,Newton-Le-Willows

I've always found dealing with estate agents to be a bit of a chore in the past. However, the level of service I have received from Hobsons has been exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to use their services again, or recommend them to friends and family.
