I would never use connells ever again after this service. Seeing all the other negative reviews pretty much sums up this site. Lots of promises and nothing to show for it.

Like previous review of my husband, we had the worst renting experience ever, so what happened we had many problems in the property starting last year first my husband moved September 2017 I wasn’t live with him , he started to contact Connells about repair issues from December 2017 we had the Check up with out solving the problem April 2018 , 5 months after and we had advised to do and not to do even the landlord come with the specialist examining me how to use the home stuffs like for example asked me to turn on the clothing dryer like I’m coming from the desert and not having Business degree!! And I didn’t live in USA before coming to live in this fancy town wow !! Nothing happened like I said Connells just give us advice to manage our previous house and now when we returned the keys 20 days later they asked to take £100 from the deposit for the landlord and the advisor specialist , we now after returning the keys 29/8/2018 staying in our relative home because we don’t have money to make deposit for new apartment and we told by this Expert agency that the deposit will sort it out 2 to 3 working days and that was 17 days ago , they can add conditions for the contract with out make you sign on it like having receipt professional cleaners or they make you bay for one even you cleaned the flat properly and made sure everything was cleaned best than the cleaning company do and you have proof about that but they still want you to bay for condition you didn’t sign , one more thing when we contact someone in this agency whw is should be manager of our case we had someone else replied to our emails and calls and then we contact this second person this person move the email for new person so we had like 15 to 20 agent replied to us when we tell them that you send it to us something they started to been lost and easily they hang up the call on you , and this is funny I know but happened to us too they can charge you Twice for the same month then they return the money 1 week after they make you in trouble with your bank.
Update: After 3 months we have our money back we kept fighting with our evidence to make them give our money back , I just recommend if you gonna leave Property rented by connells just make sure to take pictures for every corner before you leave to attached it and don’t delete the emails between you and them and be prepared because the team there when you call them they tell you they have other clients and they don’t have time for you and make you take your deposit back and you will be alone because you are not longer useful for them .
Laura Howard was fantastic during the whole purchase process of my property. We had to work to a deadline and Laura did everything she could to make sure the sale went through.

Can you "Imagine"???
Really disappointed with the service from Imagine. As an estate agent myself it is very important to provide applicants with updates. Myself and my partner booked in a viewing with Imagine, offered the asking on a rental property. It has been four days since I have viewed this property so you would think I would get a call a day or two after to be updated on my offer but guess what... I got nothing. I made the effort to contact the branch regarding my offer four days later to see what was going on which a member of staff had stated that the landlord has decided to give the property to someone else because my current tenancy with Imagine is too far ahead. Really disappointed that no one had the decency to tell me what was going on. This isn't even about the property anymore. More about the principle and respect especially when you work in the same industry. I would give no stars if I could.
Scott was our agent and he was very prompt and responsive from the very beginning. He showed us a lovely flat and did everything in his power to facilitate the process for us, with very clear pointers and helpful advice as well as follow-up communication right after we moved in. Would definitely recommend!

The service that we have received from Richard James Estate Agents has been absolutely superb. We had spent 3 unsuccessful months on the market with a national chain and the step up in quality, honesty and efficiency as soon as we switched to Richard James was incredible. Their valuation of the property was no-nonsense and spot on and they achieved the price that they said they would.
In terms of finding prospective buyers and showing the house I doubt that any firm in the country could be better. Natalie, who led all the viewings worked her socks off and was terrific, really selling a property that had a couple of complicated aspects and dealing most warmly and practically with ourselves and the purchasers. Her dedication (and that of the firm as a whole) continued well beyond the simple agreement of a deal as she stood by all parties right through the complex business negotiations that followed.
In all, we felt fairly dealt with and strongly supported throughout the whole sales process - this is a very friendly and superbly professional firm and they have my complete endorsement.
We have received excellent service from Anthony and Adam. Honestly one of the best agencies I ever dealt with. No hidden fees, quick and easy online signing for all documents and swift reply from Anthony at all times (Including after moving “after care”) - a stress free process with them- wish all agencies were like that!
Kris was fantastic during our recent sale. He is honest and pragmatic in his approach. He also looks to get the right buyer, rather than a scattergun approach.
He also mediated and kept the buyer in the loop, which was important as the conveyance took place concurrently with the acquisition of the freehold title and lease extensions. This was no mean feat, given that this process is full of needless delays!
In summary, if you are looking to sell in the Watford area, I'd recommend Oak Estates!
The most horrific experience we ever had with any agency. We have lived in a property for a year with rats, condensation and cluster flies with a premature small baby. The agency has not done their job and let us in this situation. I would never recommend anyone to deal with them!
