I was very impressed with every stage of my sale, especially as it coincided with the country-wide lockdown.
Firstly I met with the sales manager, Chris, at the start of the process, he was very professional and went through all the options for sales services they offered. He provided what turned out to be a good valuation based on recent sales of other flats in the same block as mine. The valuation he provided was higher than the other agents I met with, and since we managed to sell it for more than those other valuations, I was delighted.
Once I had signed up with them, they sent a photographer round to take photos the next day, and had my flat listed on rightmove, zoopla and their own website the day after that.
Then disaster struck! The UK went into lockdown about a week after my flat went on the market. I was resigned to there being no chance of selling for several months, but a few days later, I got a call from Chris asking to send someone round with a 360degree camera to create a virtual tour of the flat, at no additional cost. I jumped at the opportunity and a couple of days later I vacated for a couple of hours to allow the photographer do his job while maintaining social distancing.
A couple of weeks after this, I got a phone call telling me that we had someone interested in doing an in-person viewing! The agent organised everything so they could do a socially distanced viewing. (not sure of the details as I wasn't there) This viewing led to an offer, and with some negotiations and a second socially distanced viewing, the agent managed to get me a reasonable sale price.
But that was not the end of this saga! Enter Britt, the post-sales manager. Britt was fantastic at chasing up the solicitors on both sides, as well as hounding me and the buyer to complete all the various bits of admin we had to do. Due to the pandemic, everything involving the solicitors took far far longer than usual, but Britt kept up the pressure at every step, and I am convinced that without her help we would not have completed until some time long after COVID has been eliminated!
Overall I was very happy with my experience of using AP Morgan's Bromsgrove office. They were constantly proactive and extremely professional. They were not the cheapest option available, but in my case I think they were well worth the price I payed. I would happily recommend them to others, and will certainly consider them for my next sale. (copied from my trustpilot review)
