Would not recommend.
Myself and my partner viewed a flat with Zoe.
Zoe said that whoever puts forward an interest first will be the one put forward to the landlord.
We put forward our interest shortly after the viewing, and during our email exchange with Zoe, we were asked how much we would like to put forward for a rental amount. Prior to this, there were no suggestions of this being part of a bidding system.
Later we were handed over to Ryan to provide us with an update from the landlord on the 20th October. However, we had not heard from Ryan for three days. After this date, we had to chase for an update ourselves. We had also seen advertised online that the letting had been agreed upon before receiving this update. After emailing Ryan, he then called to inform us that the landlord had not accepted our offer and that he was in the process of informing the others that had been put forward. Completely contradicting what Zoe had stated the process to be.
Zoe and Ryan have shared incorrect information regarding this letting and have handled this poorly.... Read more

If you happen to be an expatriate residing in the Cobham, Esher, Walton-on-Thames locale, I would strongly advise minimizing your dealings with APW. Regrettably, they appear to exhibit scant regard for your unique circumstances, and their allegiance is undeniably skewed towards the interests of property owners. Regardless of your steadfast adherence to your responsibilities and commitments, they will seemingly go to great lengths to favor landlords at your expense. I found the whole experience extremely troublesome with their rude staff. Let's see how they survive with the downturn in the market. Agencies like these will be the first ones to suffer. I will not be dealing with them ever again.

If you're happy with an agency that does not fix any of the issues you have at your property, rude to you at every occasion and keep your deposit by proving you with an unrealistic list of made up prices for items what they should have fixed in the first place - then go ahead and regret it afterwards. My boyfriend had to resolve the issue through legal means. They will try it on and so make sure to involve your lawyer as soon as you can. I'm sure the agency will try to deny this in the reply by saying that this is untrue.... Read more

I became a client of APW Lettings (Weybridge) earlier this year and am so glad that I did. My property required a major refurbishment before it could be re-let and Karen did an absolutely fantastic job of this, going way beyond the call of duty to keep me informed and to stay on my budget. I'm delighted with the results. I have also been extremely impressed with, and am greatly thankful to, all the office staff I have dealt with (Amanda, Amena, Carol and Tracey) who have all shown great professionalism and patience in finding new tenants and guiding me through all the necessary paperwork. Since completing the refurb APW have found me two great tenants.
The day-to-day running of my property is managed by Hayley Price who I rely on completely as I live overseas. She is attentive and efficient when problems arise, making sure that maintenance issues and tenant requests are dealt with in a timely manner to everyone's satisfaction. She is also super friendly and keeps the tenants and myself well informed when something requires attention.
I thoroughly recommend the Weybridge branch of APW Lettings based on the very positive experience I have had.
Update October, 2022:
As I continue to be extremely pleased with APW's management of my property I thought it would be a good idea two years on to add to my original remarks. Thanks to the diligent work of Amanda (and Ryan) I am about to welcome my third family of excellent tenants. Each time Yana has done a brilliant job of preparing and administering the tenancy agreements and making sure that all special conditions are clearly laid out and understood. My accounting statements are submitted regularly each month by Carol who is always happy to help if I have a query. My day-to-day property management is handled by Josh who does an excellent job dealing with tenants requests and ensuring the property is properly maintained and in compliance with letting regulations. From time to time individuals I deal with change but I have yet to deal with anyone at APW who has not been committed to providing first class service.

AVOID USING THIS AGENCY AT ALL COSTS.
The quality of the property is extremely poor. Lies, lies and yet more lies from the APW property management team.
It’s been exactly the same story for some friends of ours renting from APW in Cobham, showing it’s clearly culturally endemic in this firm.
Since the end of last year, we have had issues with pretty well everything at 2 Woodside Avenue in Walton-on-Thames - no heating downstairs for almost 5 months, the boiler, the plumbing, electrics, a broken oven, tumble dryer, washing machine, dishwasher, no alarm, outside lighting, windows and doors not properly closing, fuses tripping, the gas cooker not lighting, showers, basins and insulation issues - to name but a few.
Worse still, we have consistently been lied to by the team at APW.
We were informed by Josh, the property manager, that APW had no records of any issues at the property before we moved in, but the evidence shows you can’t trust a word he says about anything.
As issue after issue arose, it became clear from the neighbours that - contrary to APW’s claim that they had no record at all of any previous issues at 2 Woodside Avenue - both previous tenants, over more than three years, had in fact also faced the same issues with both this property and APW. The landlord has a history of being slow to respond and has not resolved things, despite many requests, over many months.
The neighbours can’t be trusted we were told by APW. They didn’t have access to all of the details. They were wrong. The issues were all new since our tenancy began and had been dealt with as soon as they had been raised.
We have the evidence to the contrary however.
c20 emails, sent to APW by the last tenant, that have been forwarded to us, also raising issue after issue and even informing APW that these should be resolved before the next tenant moves in.
The neighbors, who clearly know an awful lot and can be trusted, informing us a weeks worth of work went on in the property before we moved in.
A weeks worth of work, but no previous issues?
And now an email from APW claiming to keep records of all previous communications and works carried out at this property, as is their obligation.
No records in January, but perfect records in May?
No previous issues, but a weeks worth of work before we moved in and 20 emails from the previous tenant and a legacy of years of issues?
If you would like to rent a really poor quality property; don’t mind being serially lied to; fancy waiting almost 5 months for heating and two months for curtains; are happy with a handyman who is glacially slow to address things; and don’t mind having multiple visits from workmen, over many weeks, who fail to resolve the issues, this is the firm for you!
If not, our friends and we would strongly advise:

Went to view several properties and arrived at the final one to find the parking was not suitable. I emailed to say this as we were actually early arriving - trying to be considerate and save the agent time.
Shortly after I received a rude, sarcastic and passive aggressive email.
At what point should we have let him know we weren’t interested? Before viewing (saving everyone time) or during the viewing? After the viewing?
Very unprofessional as in this business you will get people not turning up and cancelling. The response should NOT to be to send a nasty email back.... Read more

APW had been in our life for 7 years and where situations had not always been straightforward - APW were always there to help and find a solution.
The one person at APW that stood out was Helen. She had been fantastic - always putting the needs of us (tenants) first and really helped us out whenever we needed it. Clearly APW respected the landlords because our one was fantastic and trusted us with keeping their home clean and tidy!
