Awful experience, never replied on time about issues raised with the house and extortionate prices for cleaning. Used dishonest tactics to pressure us into buying the house to begin with and took 6 weeks to fix the lights, even though we messaged constantly. Just recently we have had around 5 separate emails saying a contractor was coming round to test the keys, only for an apology email to be sent the following day; this is a testemant to the shoddy and unprofessional business practices shown by Oakmans. Exceptional Auction Service........ I sold my property in the Cottons auction (December 2018). The Cottons auction team have been absolutely fantastic - I want to take this opportunity to personally thank Andrew Barden, the Auctions Partner at Cottons). The property I sold was in Liverpool (Cottons are in Birmingham). Andrew Barden of Cottons drove all the way to Liverpool (from Birmingham) to conduct a market appraisal of my property and to produce a high quality video tour of my property, as well as taking a lot of photos. Andrew kept me fully appraised of progress at all times, going above and beyond what anybody would expect from an auctioneers - calls until late into the evenings to keep me fully up to date, prompt emails and calls to potential bidders and interested parties (many of which Andrew would be working on until almost 1am in the morning). The end result - I achieved quite a bit more than the the maximum guide price as Andrew Barden and his admin team worked hard to ensure that all interested parties received the information that they each needed, on time and at all times. Avoid this company, the staff were rude and incompetent, in particular Sami who I dealt with. Will take your money and keep your deposit, inventories not carried out properly, houses dirty, the levels of professionalism were very low. Do yourselves a favour and avoid this company altogether.

They are fat liars. First day you come in, make sure you do not tell them you have children. Or they probably will tell you the property is not available. When you pay them all the money for the whole "reference check" "credit check", they will tell you that this property is booked by you. However second day you will receive a call saying that the RENT IS INCREASED by 50pounds and you have to BID with another group!!! If you don't accept the price, then you loose all the money you paid. Even you want to rent another property with Chamberlains, still it cost the same price!!!!!!!
